Big Octo Number 1
Sail to sector D7 and search for a flock of seagulls, and head in that direction. Once you find them prepare your Boomerang. Once you reach the Big Octo it will rise out of the water and slowly suck you in through a whirpool. Target all 4 of his eyes with the Boomerang and release. This repeat this process 3 times to destroy the Big Octo and get the Magic Meter upgrade from the Great Fairy.
Big Octo Number 2
Sail to sector A6 and search for a flock of seagulls, and head in that direction. Once you find them prepare your Boomerang. Once you reach the Big Octo it will rise out of the water and slowly suck you in through a whirlpool. Target 5 of his eyes with the Boomerang and release. After the Boomerang comes back to you target the other 3 eyes with your Boomerang. Repeat this process 3 times to destroy the Big Octo and grab 100 Rupees.
Big Octo Number 3
Sail to sector E5 and search for a flock of seagulls, and head in that direction. Once you find them prepare your Boomerang. Once you reach the Big Octo it will rise out of the water and slowly suck you in through a whirpool. Target 5 of his eyes with the Boomerang and release. After the Boomerang comes back to you target the other 3 eyes with your Boomerang. Repeat this process 3 times to destroy the Big Octo and grab 100 Rupees.
Big Octo Number 4
Sail to sector F3 and search for a flock of seagulls, and head in that direction. Once you find them prepare your Boomerang. Once you reach the Big Octo it will rise out of the water and slowly suck you in through a whirpool. Target 5 of his eyes with the Boomerang and release. After the Boomerang comes back to you target the other 3 eyes with your Boomerang. Repeat this process 3 times to destroy the Big Octo and grab 100 Rupees.
Big Octo Number 5
Sail to sector C3 and search for a flock of seagulls, and head in that direction. Once you find them prepare your Boomerang. Once you reach the Big Octo it will rise out of the water and slowly suck you in through a whirlpool. Target 5 of his eyes with the Boomerang and release. After the Boomerang comes back to you target 5 more eyes with your Boomerang. Once the Boomerang comes back to you target the last 2 eyes with your Boomerang. Repeat this process 3 times to destroy the Big Octo and gain a Heart Piece.
Big Octo Number 6
Sail to sector F1 and search for a flock of seagulls, and head in that direction. Once you find them prepare your Boomerang. Once you reach the Big Octo it will rise out of the water and slowly suck you in through a whirlpool. Target 5 of his eyes with the Boomerang and release. After the Boomerang comes back to you target 5 more eyes with your Boomerang. Once the boomerang comes back to you target the last 2 eyes with your Boomerang. Repeat this process 3 times to destroy the Big Octo and gain a Heart Piece.

Along the way, hire body guards to protect Tingle – but from what? All may not be as it seems in Tingle’s quest for monetary gain, and Rupeeland just might not be so rosy after all...
