He is the mystical hat that Link finds in the Minish Woods being tortured by some Octorok’s. When he hears about Link’s quest, he decides to join him, as he is actually on a quest himself to break a
curse of Vaati. Without Ezlo’s help, Link would never have gotten in touch with the Minish people, as he is the one who teaches Link how to use the portals to their tiny world.

The Princess of Hyrule, and a childhood friend of Link. She comes to get Link to take him to the annual festival in honor of the Picori, and because she is the Princess she is permitted to bring her
friend Link to the ceremony, where they celebrate the winner of the sword tournament.

 

Master Smith

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 


The greatest Swordsmith Hyrule has ever known, and also Link’s grandfather! As Link’s parental guardian, and has to get his permission to leave with Zelda for the annual Picori festival. The Smith also gives Link an important task, to deliver a mighty sword to the Minister of Hyrule, as it is to be given away to the winner of the sword competition.

This year’s winner of the annual sword tournament, held in honor of the Picori, and he won with ease, using magic no living Hylian has ever witnessed before. When the ceremony starts, he reveals that he is up to no good, and that he is looking for a powerful force that he believes is hidden within the chest which the Sword of the Picori seals. He is mighty surprised to find that what he searches is not there, but he is still convinced that this is but a small obstacle in his evil plans!

The reigning monarch of Hyrule, and possibly the only one in the entire land who knows that there is more to the legend of the Picori than what the rest of the people believes. When Princess Zelda is turned into stone, he gives Link the task of getting the Picori Blade reforged, as he knows that the Picori can only be seen by children.

The Minister to the Kingdom of Hyrule. Link has to deliver Master Smith’s sword, which is the first prize to the winner of the sword competition, to Potho.

 

Minish Elder

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 


This is one of the wisest and oldest men of the Minish race, and he is the one that tells you what you must do in order to get a chance to forge a Picori Sword which you can use to break the spell Vaati cast upon Princess Zelda!

Father and Daughter who runs the only real farm in Hyrule, Lon Lon Ranch. They have quite a few cows on their farm, and they seem to be Hyrule’s sole supplier of milk. Their milk is known throughout Hyrule for its nourishing powers.

This old man spends his days at the Library in Hyrule Town, where he tries to convince people that he is not crazy, even though he insists that the books in the library fly around on their own from time to time. And don’t tell him he’s crazy, he “ain’t crazy!”

 

Mayor Hagen

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 


The Mayor of Hyrule, who on first impression comes across as a pretty weird guy, even to Ezlo who thinks there is something weird about this guy. He can be quite a slob too, which Link must come to know when he sets out to retrieve a book the Mayor borrowed from the Library a long time ago.

These three young ladies have come all the way from some distant lands to settle in Hyrule, but they are having a hard time finding themselves homes, and the Inn isn’t really a long-term solution. Of course, it is Link’s job to come to their rescue!

 

Dr. Left

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 


An absent minded professor, Dr. Left spends most of his days locked away in his house on the eastern side of Hyrule Town researching the Minish, or the Picori as he knows them. You will almost always find him with his nose in a book.
