all i remeber is crying at the end coz I loved the game so much, I was so saddened by the fact that your ship died and I had nothing to play so then we got a wii ( years later) and bought twilight princess which was AMAZING AND I STILL HAVEN'T GOT OVER THAT GAME!!!

I think Nintendo focused on Wind Waker's backstory more then they did any other game's backstory. And then the story starts to pick up once you get farther in the game….I love WW! Can't wait to beat it for the 2nd time. :3

I think you nailed it. It was disheartening to get underwater and realize that I wouldn’t get to experience Hyrule properly.
Same to the music as well, although I have to give WW this: I felt it had THE best ending credit music in the whole Zelda franchise.

The Wind Waker is easily my favorite Zelda, and your review did it much justice (I think the scores were all right on). =)

The best game series has always been Zelda, hands down. After being a humongous fan of Ocarina of Time for years, I was hugely disappointed when I saw the “cartoony” style of Windwaker. But like the author of this review said, it tends to be the immature who think this game is immature. I was thirteen. I was immature.

Hey, guess what? When I finally got the game, I was enthralled. Just goes to show you, there’s more to a…game than it’s preview? Yea!

i really hate it when people say that WW sucks. It just wants me to say, “You probably have never even played it you idiot! So don’t go around criticizing a game you’ve never played before!” sometimes i do explode though….
i like how the dungeons made you think what do you have to do next, and not have someone help you the whole entire way, and how the bosses were hard.
I’m playing it for the 100th time and still love it! It is a great game to play time and time again.

Yeah TWW is one of the best Zelda games ever made I believe. I’m playing it now (again lol) for a third time and I still love it. When I found out that the Link from WW and the link from TP was in Brawl I was in heaven. WW, TP and ALTTP are my favorite Zelda games ever.

I just love this game. I’ve almost beat it! I’m stuck on that puppet Ganon. Its just soooooo hard!!!!!!!!!!!! You know, I think those Dark nuts like, In the Hyrule catle was so easy. But not at first. It took us 2 years. 2 years I tell ya, 2 YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAUUUUUUGGGGHHH!!!!!!!!! Sigh… I’m ok. I was so proud when I beat them. Not even my cosins could do it. and they are both older than me!!! What the heck is that all about?

I agree with basically everything you stated. I felt so sad when I watched Hyrule from the bridge at the castle. I just missed it so much. Still a great game and my favorite in the series.
