Deku Hornets can be found in Faron Woods. They are usually swarming around a hive. If you knock down the hive with your Slingshot, the entire swarm of Deku Hornets will attack you and become easy targets for your Bug Net. You can easily catch the entire swarm and add 15 or more Deku Hornets to your collection.

Blessed Butterflies can be found in all three surface regions and in Skyloft. They are often gathered in group of two or three around flower patches, but you will occasionally find them in strange locations.

If you need to find some Blessed Butterflies quickly, they can usually be found in the flower patches surrounding the Bazaar on Skyloft.

Gerudo Dragonflies can be found in Lanayru Desert and are often in groups of two.

Starry Fireflies can only be found at night on Skyloft and the surrounding islands. They are usually flying around flower or pumpkin patches.

You can often find several of them gathered near the pumpkin patch on Pumpkin Landing. They can also be found in the Waterfall Cave on Skyloft.

Woodland Rhino Beetles can be found in Faron Woods crawling on the trunks of trees and walls.

Volcanic Ladybugs can be found crawling on the side of Eldin Volcano during the day.

Sand Cicadas can be found on walls in Lanayru Desert, but their brown color can make them hard to spot against the desert landscape.

You’ll only have one chance to catch a Sand Cicada once you’ve found it. They will quickly fly away if you fail to catch them with one swing.

Sky Stag Beetles can be found on the trunks of trees around Skyloft.

Faron Grasshoppers can be found in Faron Woods in tall grass or patches of flowers.

You’ll have to be very careful while trying to catch these grasshoppers. They will not hesitate to jump away after any sudden movements.

Skyloft Mantises can be found found around the pumpkin patches and in the tall grass on Skyloft.

Lanayru Ants live underground in Lanayru Desert. You can sometimes find them while digging with the Digging Mitts. They are usually often found in groups of three.

Eldin Rollers can be found on Eldin Volcano and look like small black stones until you notice them moving! They are very fast and can be difficult to catch.

You will also sometimes dig them up with the Digging Mitts on Eldin Volcano.

You can often find Eldin Rollers just outside the entrance to the Earth Temple.
