Before you can access this mini-game, you must first have some bombs. Sail to Bannan Island and go into the cave. Once inside, head to the North and equip your bombs, blowing up the wall in front of you. Go through the new opening and trace the path all the way out of the cave which will lead you to the other side of Bannan island. Low and behold, you will meet a familiar face from The Wind Waker, Salvatore. He is the one who is hosting this little game. Of course, it comes at a price though. For a mere 20 Rupees, he will allow you to play the cannon target game. A small price to pay for the rewards available.

Your goal here is to shoot at the different colored targets while sailing a set course controlled by Linebeck on his ship. You simply have to shoot the cannon and hit the targets as they pass you by. Of course though, it’s not that simple. To gain the best score you will have to hit the blue targets which are worth a staggering 100pts. The blue targets will be destroyed with one hit but, you can hit the red targets which will gain you 20pts and they can be hit as many time as you can squeeze in before your ship passes by. The trick here is to keep shooting, checking and turning around to find the most accessible targets. If you manage to gain a total of 2500pts, you will be rewarded with an upgrade to your bomb bag. A very handy upgrade which will aid you further in your quest. This upgrade is only available once mind.

0000 – 1499pts = Green or Blue Rupee

1500 – 1999pts = Green, Blue or Red Rupee

Get over 2500pts and you might just nab yourself a Bomb Bag Upgrade, a Ship PartOr it could just be a Big Green Rupee
