Bean Beds are the spots of soft soil where you can plant Magic Beans. You get Magic Beans from the bean seller at the beginning of Zora’s River. Planting them as Young Link can give you special stuff and lead you to secrets when they sprout as you do your seven-year-lasting slumbering. Play the Song of Storms near a bean plant to make three fairies appear. Releasing bottled bugs near a bean bed will cause a Gold Skulltula to pop out.

  • Kokiri Forest

There is a bean bed located behind the Kokiri Shop. Riding the bean plant as an adult will lead to a small indent in one of the rock walls filled with Rupees.

  • Lost Woods

There is a bean bed located after 2 lefts in the Lost Woods. Riding the bean plant as an adult will give you a shortcut to the bridge connecting Hyrule Field and the Lost Woods.

  • Lost Woods

There is a bean bed located near the end of the Lost Woods. Riding the bean plant as an adult will lead to a Gold Skulltula.

  • Kakariko Graveyard

There is a bean bed located in the front left of the graveyard. Riding the bean plant as an adult will lead to a Piece of Heart.

  • Death Mountain

There is a bean bed just in front of Dodongo’s Cavern. Riding the bean plant as an adult will lead to a Piece of Heart, and provide a shortcut up Death Mountain.

  • Zora’s River

There is a bean bed located at the entrance of Zora’s River, near the bean seller. Riding the bean plant as an adult will give you a faster way to go up Zora’s River. Unlike the other bean bed, this one does not have a Gold Skulltula in it.

  • Lake Hylia

There is a bean bed located just beside the Lakeside Laboratory. Riding the bean plant as an adult will lead to a Piece of Heart, and give access to the Fishing Pond.

  • Gerudo Valley

There is a bean bed located on a ledge above the river, near the waterfall. Riding the bean plant as an adult will lead to the Piece of Heart that’s behind the waterfall.

  • Death Mountain Crater

There is a bean bed just beside the warp point into Death Mountain Crater. Riding the bean plant as an adult will lead to a Piece of Heart.

  • Desert Colossus

There is a bean bed located by the entrance to the Spirit Temple. Riding the bean plant as an adult will lead to a Piece of Heart and a Gold Skulltula.
