Level One: Ordon Target Practice
Strategy
Enemies: none
Time Allowed: 60 seconds
As you start out this level, you will be overlooking Ordon Village. You will move onto one of the Villages back ledges with flowers on it. As you’re moving, look to the right. See that scarecrow? Zoom in and shoot it eight times in the torso, then its head will expand. Shoot the head only when it’s expanded. When you arrive on the ledge, the first target will pop up right in front of you. Shoot it, and two more will pop up afterwards. Shoot those, and three more will pop up. Once you’ve shot those, look to the left. See that sign? You can shoot it for some extra points. Now five more targets will pop up. Shoot those, and a special target (special targets are worth more points) will pop up almost in the center of the screen on top of that tall house. Shoot it, and the ending whistle will blow and you will be taken to in front of that exact same house you just shot the special target at. Now on to part two.
As you’re coming down from the ledge to the house, zoom in to the right and you will see another scarecrow. Shoot it (eight times in torso, wait until head expands, shoot head) and quickly following will be the starting whistle. You are now in front on the houses porch. See the jars on the sides? Shoot those when you have time in between targets popping up. A target will pop up in front of the door. Shoot it, and five more targets will appear on the porch. Shoot those, and another five will appear – two are right in front of you, one to the right on the roof, another to the left on a tall post, and the last one on the very top of the house. Once you’ve shot all of those, four more will appear in a row to the left behind the fence. Shoot those. If you didn’t get the scarecrow your first try and you have some time until the next round begins, try getting it now. The scarecrow is in the top right corner. Once you’ve shot all the targets, the ending whistle will blow. Now you will be taken to the third and final area.
As you’re being taken to the last area, you will be passing by a group of jars. Shoot those. When you arrive, you’ll be in front of a small body of water with a couple of Cuccos swimming in it. Do not shoot those – you will lose points. In front of you is a small dock, to the left is a house, rising up from the water are two tall islands/platforms, and in the background are a bunch of trees. When the starting whistle blows, a special target will pop up at the end of the dock. Shoot it, and two more targets will appear. A normal target will be on the right island/platform, and a special target will be on the left side on top of the houses’ roof. Once you’ve shot those, three more will appear; a normal one on the roof of the house, another normal on the left island/platform, and a special one on the right island/platform. Once you’ve shot those, three more targets will rise up from the water. The first one will be a normal one that rises up from the center, quickly followed by a normal one on the left and a special one on the right.
Once you’ve shot those, the targets will now start moving back and forth across the screen. A normal one will start moving from right to left and a special one from left to right. These two targets will both be behind the two islands/platforms, so try and shoot them before they go hiding.
Once you’ve shot those, two special ones will pop up in the background. Shoot those. Just a little warning – keep your eyes peeled for the ones that like to hide behind the trees. Once you’ve shot those two, another special one will pop up slightly to the right behind the trees. As soon as you shoot it, two more will pop up; a normal one in the center behind the trees and a special one to the left. Once you’ve shot those four more will pop up all behind the trees. To the left is a normal, in the center are two normal, and to the right is a special. Shoot those, and see that tall thing in the background that looks like a giant tree or mountain? A final special target will appear at the very top of it. Shoot it. If you have any time left over and have shot all the targets, you will receive bonus points.
Defender Level: Gerudo Stalfos
Enemies: Stalfos, Shield Stalfos
Time allowed: 60 seconds
When you start out, notice how you have a different view this time? That’s because for this level you will be in third person. Pay close attention to your radar in this level – it will become very helpful for when you get surrounded by enemies. As soon as you start out, the first Stalfos will come out of the sand in front of you. Shoot it, and quickly turn to the left to shoot the next one. As soon as you shoot that one turn to the right slightly and shoot the two coming out of the sand. Once those two are shot, turn slightly to the right again and kill the next two that appear. Once those two have been shot, turn slightly to the right again and kill the next two that appear. As soon as those two are dead, turn slightly to the right again and you will see a group ofthem along with a glowing green Stalfos. As soon as you see the glowing green one, shoot it as quickly as possible, and your crossbow will get upgraded.
As soon as you’re done with that group, turn to the right yet again, and another group along with another glowing green one will appear. Kill the green one, then kill the group. Be sure to get them all because it’s quite a hefty group. Turn right again and this time along with a group, you will see a giant shielded Stalfos. Try your best to kill this group quickly because if you notice on your radar, there’s another group coming up from behind you quite quickly, and that group also has a giant shielded Stalfos. Once you’ve killed that group along with the giant Stalfos, a group of five giant shielded Stalfos will appear. If you can kill all five and have time left over, you will get bonus points and a large group of Stalfos to shoot.
Ranger Level: Arbiters Grounds
Enemies: Bulblins
Time allowed: 90 seconds
This level is a free point level. All you got to do is shoot the Bulblins you see and come across. When you arrive, you will immediately see two Bulblins. Shoot them right away. As soon as you kill them, quickly look up to the right and shoot the Bulblin you see there. There will be a Bulblin walking behind it, so kill that one as well. Move forward, and see those pots there to the left? Shoot them. Walk up the hill and you will be greeted by another Bulblin. Shoot it, and start going to the left a little. You will see two more Bulblins. Shoot them, then zoom in to the top of the pillar behind the tent. Kill the Bulblin that’s there. Zoom out, then quickly zoom to the left of the tent and shoot the explosives that you see. Walk to the left again, and zoom in to the top of the pillar you see behind the tent to the right. Kill the Bulblin there, then quickly zoom out and you will see another Bulblin to the left of the tent. Shoot it. Look to the right of the tent and you will see a giant pig roasting. Shoot it until blows up.
Now walk in front of the tent and stop just a little behind the opening in the wall. Zoom in to the top of the pillar that’s there and kill the Bulblin. Zoom in to the right and you see a tall wooden post. Look up at the top and kill the Bulblin. Start walking to the right a bit and you will see some jars. Zoom into the jars and you will see a thing of explosives and a Bulblin. Shoot the Bulblin then the explosives. Once you’ve done that, look to the left. See the pillar on the end? Zoom in on it at the top and kill the Bulblin. Now go through the gap in the wall and look to the left to see another Bulblin. Shoot it. Zoom in to the right of where you just shot that Bulblin and shoot the one you see there. Now start walking towards where you killed those Bulblins and look up. You will see two ledges on the side. Zoom in to the farthest ledge and kill the Bulblin.
Move forward a bit and look to the right of where you just killed that Bulblin and you will see another ledge. Zoom in and kill the Bulblin. There is another Bulblin right next to the area of where the previous Bulblin just fell. Kill him. If you look to the left, you will see a group of jars and pots. Shoot those. Now start walking towards where you just killed that last Bulblin. Zoom in towards the right. Kill that Bulblin, then look a little more towards the right and kill that Bulblin. Behind him sitting behind some more jars is another Bulblin. Shoot it, then shoot the jars. Start walking towards the left and look to the right. You will see a roasting pig. To the right of it is another Bulblin. Shoot him, then shoot the pig. Look up above where the pig was and you will see to the right the last Bulblin on a post. Shoot him. If you manage to shoot all the enemies, you will get bonus points. If you have time left over, walk around shooting any jars or crates you may have missed.
