The title says it all; however, I never imagined using the words “Zelda” and “gas mask” in the same sentence. Brian Cargile, an artist who works specifically with everything masks, has crafted a “Hylian Hero of Time” gas mask that may serve better as display rather than functionality. While Brian will occasionally siphon inspiration from video games, he usually crafts products from his own creativity; be sure to check out his deviantART page to view others, such as his Pokemon and Portal inspired gas masks. If you are interested in purchasing products such as these, Brian will be putting them on the market at  METROCON in Tampa this June.

While I've got to say that this is really awesome in a bunch of unexpected ways… it's a respirator, not a gas mask. :/

Great! Now I can show off my zelda geekiness when there is a gas leak!

  5. Kale says:

Again, this will not help with gases; only fumes and/or particulates (depending on the filter). It's a respirator.

Exactly, its described as a gas mask but has no functionality as one. It may work well with dust though :D

Sweet ! What great timing, just in time for all the dust that'll fill the air when whatshisaztecpants begins his assault on earth this year!

With this, not only will we have filtered air, but we'll have filtered air in style!!
