Wind Waker HD US release date confirmed for October 4th

Finally, The Wind Waker HD has been dated for its US launch. The Wii U remake will hit North America on October 4th, the same day as the European release. This comes after the Japanese launch, which is on September 26th. This was confirmed via a Nintendo press email:

“To celebrate the launch of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD for Wii U on Oct. 4, Nintendo is adding some extra magic to the Seattle stop of The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses concert tour.”

So, looks like attendees at the Symphony of the Goddesses may be in for a bonus on the same day too!
