It is written, the month of March on ZU is also the month of the Zelda CD-i games. We will post CD-i related posts every day for the entire month. Look forward to reviews, articles exploring both the good (wait, what?) and the bad and the hillariously bad. There will be contests, fanart highlights, youtube poop videos and we’ve even set up a CD-i board on the forums where you can discuss the – as the Angry Video Game Nerd called it – unholy triforce of the Zelda franchise.
Kicking off CD-i month however, is a special CD-i edition of the mailbag, featuring none other than The King and Zelda themselves.
We hope you enjoy CD-i month and take part in the festivities.

Tingle’s Rosy Rupeeland was released only in Japan and Europe, never making it to the USA due to lackluster sales. Surprisingly, the game was well-received among those who did play and review the game. You play as Tingle, a 35-year-old (and single) man lost in the world. Guided by the mysterious figure Uncle Rupee, Tingle fills a mystical spring with money and gain access to the wonderful Rupeeland, a paradise where nobody has to work. Along the way, hire body guards to protect Tingle – but from what? All may not be as it seems in Tingle’s quest for monetary gain, and Rupeeland just might not be so rosy after all...
very funny way to get rid of the same, old, stupid timeline questions! XD
Just don't put up TOO much YTP, I've seen it all!
^ We actually have surprisingly few YTPs scheduled
Is that… even… possible?!!
Well it's about time the games actually got an analysis that doesn't focus on my name, dinner, lamp oil, rope, bawmbs, and DIE. I suspect that behind the cutscenes there's a basis for a decent game. Somewhere, that is.
hoo dat gurl
Please no
Wait, wait wait, it's MARCH first, not APRIL first! What gives?
It sounds like you're under the impression that this is a joke.
Given Zelda Universe's habit of maligning the CD-i games, I find it hard to believe that this is not some form of joke or mockery.
Oh god xD
O.o
