The Sacred Realm is reporting that the first independent Zelda film, The Hero of Time, will be released online through video sharing site Dailymotion. The official date of release is clocked in at just under one month away – December 14, 2009 – and with some good old-fashioned patience, we’ll all soon be watching The Hero of Time in our comfortable chairs through a certain series of tubes.

Fair play to them, I'll probably watch it

what the-?
I'm so confused, is this the same movie we've been talking about recently? How many live-action adaptations of Ocarina of Time are there?

@ChainofTermina:
Yeah it's the same movie by BMB Finishes, I am glad it's finally coming out to the public so the masses can see it. However I really hope someday down the road this will come out on DVD.

Yeah, no thanks. Seems ridiculous. Live action video game movies…yeah, no. There are a few exceptions, I guess–(some of the Resident Evil ones were okay) but for the most part, they're just awful.

I can only see the Ocarina of Time as a cartoon, not a live action movie. But who knows, it might be a good movie.

What the hell?! someone actually agrees with me?!

…You haven't seen any of the other live action Zelda fan films, have you?

Yeeeeehaaaah!

@Z?
It's not LotR. Don't take it so seriously. It's just good, cheesy fun. I'm glad it's being released online, but why DailyMotion? They don't even support 720p. YouTube would've been a better choice, especially now that their audio quality isn't garbage.
Who cares if it's not amazing?

I'm not saying it has to be great. Just not a pile of goat crap.
