Mario Easter Egg update for Ocarina of Time 3D

I’m sure most of you will remember the hidden Easter egg in Hyrule Castle’s courtyard in Ocarina of Time‘s original release, back in 1998. When Link was in the castle courtyard, if the player looked through the windows, they would see portraits of the characters from the Mario series, such as Luigi, Yoshi, Princess Peach, and Mario himself.

With the game’s upgrade to the 3DS, this Easter egg has had its own upgrade: looking through the windows in the courtyard no longer shows portraits of the Mario cast. Players will now see iconic items from the Mario series, like warp pipes and blocks, and even a classic Super Mario World background.
