STLOcarina

The Detroit branch of Fox News recently ran a segment named Hall of Shame about some interesting local stories. Sounds normal enough, until you reach about 0:56 in the clip and hear the unmistakable sounds of music from the Ocarina of Time Soundtrack.

Being a Detroiter, I normally watch channel 4 for my news, but I think fox 2 is going to gain a new viewer.

  2. Valhelm Says:

    Okay, that was freaky.
I guess some righty-wacko guy that works for Fox played Ocarina of Time. Go figure.

Couldn't that be considered copyright infringement?

  3. Noah Says:

    is that legal?

  4. Moochy Says:

HA, idk why this is so funny to me but i keep laughing

  5. Zora-Boy Says:

HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!! Ya, IS that legal? Im startin to think that there are lots of zelda fans that work, like the triforces in the google logos and the music in this!

  6. The Silent Orion Says:

That was really odd. I hope the guy who did that doesn't end up getting fired.

  7. zelda freak fan Says:

  10. Miff Says:

I'm glad that my local Fox station doesn't do any news reports. Remember, this is the same network that brought us "hackers on steroids".

  11. Azerik Says:

Wow…I wonder if we'll see Nintendo complaining about this in the future…

  12. Tulcaryar Says:

    Hahahaha…really??

  13. LeroyZU Says:

    Lol! Nice catch ^_^

  14. Teengamer Says:

    That's kinda cool!
I doubt Nintendo would get on them just for using one song.
But who knows, maybe they've used a Zelda song before, or plan to.

  15. Saffien Says:

    LOL! Bahahahahah.

  16. Ohmygasha! Says:

  19. ZeldaGuardian06 Says:

Oh man, what they won't use on the News.

  20. Sol Says:

oh Din, why am I laughing so hard at this?

  21. kaylee Says:

I just really hope no one gets fired for it. It should be quietly pulled and edited, on their own website anyhow. A subtle triforce hidden in a larger image is just three triangles that we associate with Zelda but are essentially triangles, it's not like Nintendo owns the copyright on geometric shapes. The music is distinctive though, and professionals should be more wary of this.

Personally, I don't think the music suits the situation. Maybe someone just through in a tune for the rough draft and wasn't given a chance to remove it?

  22. Tyler Says:

    Ha Ha
My dad hates that music so much!

  23. Rappy0 Says:

This reminds me of the triforces on the google image they use only its a news network

  24. Moochy Says:

if it wasnt the indoors theme it wouldnt be so dang funny to me. that song just cracks me up hahaha especially when it bursts out of nowhere like here XD

  27. Majora's Reincarnate Says:

I just clicked the link, and it says that the video was not found! I think they removed it XD

  28. Oscar Says:

Haha Zelda fans are everywhere =)

  29. Z-MAN7 Says:

Of all the music to pop out of nowhere, it had to be the house theme.

Fox reporter:”This just in! A green clad vigilante was reported breaking and entering peoples homes and breaking vase and pottery in search of money.”

  30. Eggys Says:

    Lawsuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuit.

O how I hate Fox News.

  31. Austin Says:

I bet Cockrell Inc. did it!

  32. calvinlink Says:

  37. Siaarn Says:

What the hell? XD That CAN'T be legal, what the hell were they thinking?

  38. DekuLink Says:
