You might have noticed that our Fan Art Friday post was missing this past Friday. That would be because the usual writer of those posts was busy at work finishing her own fantastic art piece.
For those not in the know, Eternal Legend is an amazing artist in her own right, and not only is she responsible for a lot of the art you see here at Zelda Universe (the Mailbag header image, the Zelda News header image, the Featured Forum Thread header image, etc.) but also has created fantastic masterpieces that can be found on her deviantArt page where she is known as uniqueLegend.
This time she has really outdone herself with a gigantic piece focusing on many, many scenes and characters from Skyward Sword. View her art after the jump!

Tingle’s Rosy Rupeeland was released only in Japan and Europe, never making it to the USA due to lackluster sales. Surprisingly, the game was well-received among those who did play and review the game. You play as Tingle, a 35-year-old (and single) man lost in the world. Guided by the mysterious figure Uncle Rupee, Tingle fills a mystical spring with money and gain access to the wonderful Rupeeland, a paradise where nobody has to work. Along the way, hire body guards to protect Tingle – but from what? All may not be as it seems in Tingle’s quest for monetary gain, and Rupeeland just might not be so rosy after all...
Meh…Actual game looks much better.
You seriously think that this is meant to look like the game? It's a piece of art based on Skyward Sword… Are you trying to sound like an idiot :S
You know, when you look at something under Fan Art Monday, you're going to get work that's the interpretation of a fan. I'd much rather see someone put together an art piece with their own character added to it, rather than looking exactly like the original because it shows off the artist's personality. If you're looking for actual art, by all means look up something official.
That's an absurdly strict (and not to mention erroneous) definition of "fan art."
That's really not the point. The point is that IT'S INCREDIBLE. And if you don't see that, I'd either like to see you create something better, or go have your eyes checked. because you either must be DiVinci reincarnated, or blind.
I'm leaning towards the latter, because I'm sure Divinci could at least appreciate it the work that went into it.
Guys guys I think he/she was being facetious or I at least I hope because this is truly amazing
OMG this is so beautiful and amazing! Thank you soo much Eternal Legend for creating this masterpiece.
absolutely stunning!
Tentalus! stop tainting awesome stuff!
Amazing. Excellent work indeed.
This is beautiful! Absolutely stunning!
This is beautiful! :O Looking at this amazing art made me relieve those key moments in the game. Great job Eternal Legend at capturing Link's journey and the essence of the game with your artistic talent!
Holy crap this is amazing! The atmosphere and colors are spot on, wow. Must've taken a TON of time to do but well worth it!! Great job Eternal Legend!!!
Absolutly AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!
Really nice!!!
It's a great piece of art….
My only issue with it is that it tries to hard to be like other Zelda pieces of art that already exist….
For example this legendary piece which got a lot of attention during the 25th anniversary of Zelda;

Which also got a Skyward Sword only follow up by another artist;

Seems to be a new trend in Zelda art to do these super vertical pieces depicting as many characters or moments in a Zelda game.
Sadly even though I know a lot of work went into this piece, when compared to the art pieces that came before it, it becomes overshadowed and kind of unoriginal.
I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just being critical, and want to encourage perhaps expanding your art skills into something original so that your talent can shine on it's own. So don't take offense to my original comment.
I can understand comparing the works because they're all vertical, but I don't think this is unoriginal. The others mostly just had piles of characters, whereas this is more like a slideshow of dozens of scenes.
Anyway, I think it's amazing!
It's not just about them being vertical. It's about being vertical and then compiling a bunch of characters/moments…. this piece may have more moments from Skyward Sword then the other pieces, but it suffers from trying to be like the others in it's composition and style.
It uses the same lit up bloom effect on highlights…. the same flowing from one image to the next.
It's simply too much like the other art pieces. Either way that's art for you though, subjective.
Beautiful!
I love how Tentalus is photo-bombing at that one part. Even though he (or she) is a Leviathon, which is one of the scariest sea monsters, I can never take him (her) seriously. It is a fantastic painting though, I've always liked things like this.
Look at the size of that thing!
This is so awesome! I want a giant poster print of it.
this is fricken amazing!
Wow, amazing EternalLegend! This is amazing! Looks like you had a lot of fun with this
