The manga A Link to the Past by Akira Himekawa will be released this Tuesday, February 2nd, in bookstores across America. Like the other mangas in the series, the story will be based on the game itself. Look for it in your local bookstore or order online for a cover price of $7.99!
According to Amazon.com, the manga series will continue this fall with the release of The Phantom Hourglass around September 7th. Already released are Ocarina of Time Part I, Ocarina of Time Part II, Majora’s Mask, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages, Four Swords Part I, Four Swords Part II, and The Minish Cap.

Tingle’s Rosy Rupeeland was released only in Japan and Europe, never making it to the USA due to lackluster sales. Surprisingly, the game was well-received among those who did play and review the game. You play as Tingle, a 35-year-old (and single) man lost in the world. Guided by the mysterious figure Uncle Rupee, Tingle fills a mystical spring with money and gain access to the wonderful Rupeeland, a paradise where nobody has to work. Along the way, hire body guards to protect Tingle – but from what? All may not be as it seems in Tingle’s quest for monetary gain, and Rupeeland just might not be so rosy after all...
Cool, i got it a few days ago. The best so far.
omigodomigodomigodomigodomigodOMIGOD!!!! I don't think I'veever read this one! I mean, I read all the other ones as scans on th eweb years ago, but I don't think I've ever read this one.
Phantom Hourglass!!?? What the HELL!?!?! No WW!?!?! I WANT A WIND WAKER MANGA!!!!!!
Oh good. I stopped buying them after Majora's Mask came out, so I could wait for ALTTP.
I might get the other ones, too, though.
FINALLY! My favorite Zelda game.
Wait! Why is his hair blonde?
Shouldn't it be pink…?
*facepalm*
His hair was never meant to be pink. Zelda and he have blonde hair in the official art.
The pink hair was only for the game sprite (something to do with SNES graphics at the time) but in the official art, he does have blond hair.
To be fair, he was more of a redhead in official art. Link never really went fully blonde until Ocarina of Time… which, ironically, gives him red hair in the game. So the pink hair was sort of a representation of red hair with the colour limitations to distinguish it from the yellow trim of his hat.

he had blonde hair. his sprite was pink for some strange reason.
<3 Omg YES this was the game that hooked me into zelda, holds such a special place in my heart. Lets hope this one isn't a dissapointment like Majora's Mask Manga was.
I've had the Japanese version of the Triforce of the Gods manga for a while now, and it tells a great story.
But really, a Phantom Hourglass manga BEFORE a Windwaker one?
Even while reading scanlations of the PH manga I can't help but wonder what the logic here was.
