We have been seeing a lot of characters who look similar to characters from The Wind Waker/Phantom Hourglass, presumably because they are descendants, but now art has surfaced of what appears to be an old face from Wind Waker, though a much older face than before thanks to the time gap.

I was contacted by Joe Rovang, a Zelda fan who – surprisingly – had only recently picked up The Wind Waker. To help himself remember where certain objects and places were within the expanse of the Great Sea, he had created an incredible high-resolution map. When I saw it, I knew precisely what had to be done.

Zelda Universe’s Wind Waker maps have long been in need of a touch-up, and I’m happy to say that Joe’s map is exactly what ZU’s Wind Waker section needed. Please have a look at the map, which I’ve dubbed the Ultimate Sea Chart, by clicking here. And thanks, Joe, for making it!

The Zelda article industry seems to be booming lately – two interesting new articles have been released in the last couple of days.

First up, there is an article from Destructoid entitled “The case for cute: Why Wind Waker is the best Zelda ever”, and Nathan of ZeldaInformer has released yet another controversial article, this one called “Long Live the Triforce… or not.”

Some people get bored easily during Christmas and try to kill time by doing various activities. One guy decided to grab all of his instruments and play the The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker opening theme. Since the young man had no friends nor family who were nerdish enough to aid him in his quest, he thought of a way to play all of his instruments at the same time, by himself. After massive braincell activity, he had thought of the ultimate solution: play every instrument separately, record it and put it all together with a video-editing program. The result?
