GameSpot recently held a poll battle between Link and Gordon Freeman, as part of its “All Time Greatest Video Game Hero” tournament. The battle was extremely close, and the two remained within 0.5% of each other the entire match.
That is, until the creators of Gordon Freeman, Valve Corporation, stepped in on the last day, alerting their entire fan-base about the contest and telling them to vote for Gordon. This flooded the polls with 40000+ sudden votes and demolished Link’s chances for good.
Last month, we needed to put up a new poll, so we asked the fans of our Facebook page what the poll should be about, and they responded with the idea, “you should poll them on what the next poll should be about!” We did this, and now a winner has been decided.
It’s time for a new poll, so we polled the members of our Facebook page, and several suggested that we should have a poll on what our next poll should be. The results to our previous poll show some interesting statistics - it seems that Spirit Tracks has some fairly large support from ZU, and it also seems that quite a large number of us miss watching Thomas the Tank Engine! Hit the jump for the numerical poll results.
