Is your desktop feeling lonely? Did the last batch of fan wallpapers not satisfy you? Well, Kris Hickey is here to cure your woes. He’s just submitted a beautiful wallpaper set of his own artwork depicting Link running through a dungeon – created entirely in colored pencil. Every so often, some very generous Zelda fan walks our way. Today, that person is Anna, who a while back donated to us her full-length original soundtrack to Link’s Awakening. Seeing as Zelda Universe’s selection of tracks for Link’s Awakening was, well, let’s say “less than stellar”, you can imagine we were overjoyed to finally revitalize the LA soundtrack page.
This month some newly published webcomics about Zelda have been brought to our attention. We haven’t covered this particular branch of the Zelda fan community before, so we will see how well-received this post is before we decide whether to continue showcasing Zelda webcomics.
Brawl in the Family released a comic this month about some unfortunate side-effects of using the boomerang to fight Bubbles, while Awkward Zombie pointed out a flaw in the TP game mechanic of switching mounts mid-battle.
After much debate (read: none at all), ZU finally has an official Facebook page, as well as a soon to be often-updated Twitter account. The Twitter account will tweet out the latest Zelda news from ZU, as well as do anything else we feel like it should do. The Facebook page is just the portal to ZU on Facebook.
