Zelda Universe recently gained more recognition for it’s wonderful content.  From the wonderful people over at LegendofZelda.com, the Lozzies are their version of Zelda awards given out to the best of the best Zelda sites on the net.

They handed out two today, the first being the Strategy Geek given to the site with the best walkthroughs and strategy guides.  Zelda Dungeon won those honors with their very precise walkthroughs and guides.

Zelda Universe on the other hand won the award entitled The Virtuoso.  It is an award given for the best media content, which Zelda Universe prides itself on.

It was pointed out to us that the images for our OoA and OoS Magic Ring pages weren’t working, so we fixed it. If you see any other similar errors, mention them here so that it can be fixed quickly.

It’s all very nice to have a Spirit Tracks section for the site, but it’s sort of useless when it’s empty, so we’ve filled it out a bit based on what’s available so far. Here’s a full list of everything we’ve covered up till this posting:

• A main index page for Spirit Tracks with quick information
• Characters
• Items and Equipment
• Walkthrough (just a placeholder page for now)
• Enemies
• Bosses
• Videos (just the trailer for now)
• Screenshots (over 25 from the trailer!)
• In addition, comments are open on all these pages – feel free to discuss whatever’s on the page!

There’s more to come, and the pages are fleshing out as more and more information is released. You should bookmark the index page or any page you’re interested in so you can check back often, since we’ll be updated the pages as new information becomes available. Changes will be made quickly and often! In addition, we want to be as up-to-date with all Spirit Tracks news and press stuff as possible, so if you do find new information for the that we haven’t reported yet, remember that we have a Submit News page – just send us the info or news story and we’ll get to work.

I think I can say without bias that the Zelda Universe community stands out as one of the biggest and the most thriving Zelda communities out there. Our forums over the years have been home to many of the most intriguing and groundbreaking pieces of Zelda theorizing and discussion that the internet has to offer, and our member base, though large, has formed strong bonds, some members even deciding to marry each other!

But unfortunately, I also must admit that the main site half of ZU has not quite maintained the high standard that makes our community so famous. This ends now.

A long time has passed since the DSi was released in Japan (while us mortals are still waiting for it) and so far no big-name downloadable content has been offered. But Famitsu has revealed that Sega will release a Phantasy Star game for the console some time this month.

News Managers aren’t all we need. Applications are now reopening for the title of Content Manager.

Basically, your job will be to write the actual Zelda content of the site. For example, an Enemies page or a walkthrough. Our next step will be the LCT and TRR pages, and we still have some Brawl stuff to do also.
