Here's where we can discuss ours and other's works dealing with ZuNoWriMo. A sort of lounge, if you will. We can also share our progress here.

My opinion: It's going much better now than last year. Back then I had too much school to do. Well, it's not like this month is all cruisin' either, but I guess I can write alot during my flights to and from the US.

Mine's going quite nicely so far. Some people might find it a bit boring, but it's to get more interesting, I swear! It's refreshing to write something so different to what I normally do. I was hoping to be up to about 5-7,000 words by now but the 3,000 or so I have so far are plenty for the moment.

It's great to see so many stories up already. I'm going to read them after I've met my quota for the day. I still have a few days left before classes start, although I suspect I'm going to get better ideas when I'm busy. But I'm very happy with my story, which is based off my NaNo one.

I choose to be different and put the whole thing [ZuNoWriMo] in the title.

Mine's a little behind. I attempt a 1,000 words a day, but I was busy and will have to pull a double shift today. Hoorah! I too, have been looking around, and am interested in some of the works started.

As for my story, I think it's prolly going to end up like oast years, maybe a little darker, more mature, and probably better written.

Life was my nemesis today. And tomorrow as well. I have to drive in for a dentist appointment. If I don't make it, I'd at least like to try.

I haven't started, on account of my lack of any ideas to do. But, today I thought of one that would be rather fun to do. I believe a combination of Pokemon and House would spice up this ZUNo very much indeed.

My ZuNo won't remain on one computer. It's spread over three at the moment, and I doubt that combined there are even 500 words among them.

I went to Cambridge today. I probably shouldn't have, since I didn't do anything there except have fish & chips and coffee. I was planning to have 3000 words by today and I haven't written anything since my last post! Not to mention, I'm still quite car sick.

I am finally going to start today, I have a great idea. I should have the first chapter up today, hopefully around three thousand words. So i would suggest you readit if you get the chance, for it shall be interesting.

Indeed, they're all in my house, but all on different floors, =( The constant running between them is such a pain.

With barely 1000 words written at this point, I'm beginning to fear for my chances of finishing. And the fear of my story being rejected and kicked and spat on rises tenfold every hour.

My fears exactly.

Earlier today I was thinking about my work and all of a sudden i thought it was crap. I wanted to delete it all and start over. All of a sudden I could find all these flaws. I almost deleted it all and started over again. Also feared what people will say about it. From its complete trash to, you should give up forever.

But as the day went on my fears subsided and I got a chance to work on it a bit.

I have decided to atleast get 30,000 words. As long as I reach that goal, I will be happy.

I'm still kinda happyish with my progress. I'm quite a bit behind where I'd like to be. It's not too bad on the word count front yet. However, due to my extreme talent of getting distracted I'm expecting to fall seriously behind soon.

As for content, I'm quite happy with it so far. The dialogue is a bit lacking I reckon but other than that I think it's fairly good.

ZuNo's are supposed to look like crap.

That's what it's all about. You're basically sharing with us a first draft, which you can do whatever you want with when ZuNoWriMo ends. Last year, I entered ZuNoWriMo with "My Cabana: The Memoirs of the Hero of Winds." Afterwards, I cleaned up the chapter and posted it in the fan fiction section, and recently wrote a second chapter for it.

Gah, I'm currently seriously lacking any motivation to continue my WriMo. I've been distracted from it for a good few days now. It's not that I don't enjoy writing it, it's more that I'm simply finding it hard to sit down and get to work. Being back to school is draining me . Anyone have some tips?

I've been writing in my journal for a while now, so I have to get it all typed up. I've also started using word-count-boosting tactics. But I'm still falling behind, in the sense that my daily quota becomes larger everyday.

You're welcome, Mr. Man. As for tips... Well, I'm the opposite. I feel more sharp and fulfilled back in the bustle. But I find it helps to write outside, like in a cafe. I'm always so lazy back home.

Also, I'm curious. What programmes do you guys use to write? I discovered Microsoft OneNote right before NaNo, and it's so convenient.
