The Wii U isn’t about power

Nintendo’s new system isn’t about power, but rather an experience. The Wii U promises to be a fun gaming system in which everyone can enjoy what it has to offer. Reggie stated that if power was everything, the GameCube would have been the best selling system of its generation.

Yep. Once again they will fall behind on power. Whether they want to realize it or not, power is important. Heck, Reggie even said that if Gamecube focused on power, it would have been the best! Then why didn't they?

Aside from that, I'd still like to hear the exact price and date, but I'm certainly looking forward to the Wii U's release. I'll probably get it soon after the release date (if not the release date depending on when it's released)

The online bit is what scares me.

Nintendo can’t keep up with Xbox Live and PSN

Nintendo is promising a greater, deeper online experience than what the Wii provided, but even president Satoru Iwata confessed that they are too behind their competitors to catch up now. They are going to focus on what they have now, rather than try to copy Sony’s or Microsoft’s online experience and mess up.

I don't like the sounds of that :/

It's the "NFC Reader/Writer" or something.

I personally think that Nintendo's making a smart move by recognizing it has fallen behind in the online, but that instead of copying Microsoft or Sony and doing it all wrong and making a terrible online, they're going to make a new system.

Hopefully they make it a breath of fresh air, a different and still good way to use online gaming could be really cool.

To bad there won't be an achievement/trophy system. Oh well.
