It doesn't beat the 25th anniversary Zelda 3DS though. :p But that purple is a nice colour. Maybe a little too bright, but still nice.

Damn.

Against this awesome purple, Pinkie Pie's pink 3DS seems less appealing.

I'm still waiting for a 3DS with Reggie or Miyamoto on the cover. That would sell like crazy.

Reggie, seriously?
I just can't bring myself to like the guy. He's got the charisma of a wet sock, IMO. He just doesn't quite seem like a relatable gamer to me. By now, I think NOA would have a bit more charismatic head. I don't really know much about his background before heading NOA, so I suppose it's more based on gut feeling for me, which I understand could seem a bit shallow/short-sighted.

I also often find myself scratching my head at many of the decisions NOA makes, and thus find it hard to feel a rapport with Reggie. I FOR CURE would NEEEEEEVVVVVEEERRR but a 3ds with his face on it. But a Shiggy 3DS? That would be amazingly awesome, I would totes buy one! (except I already have a 3DS).

I realy don't think a reggie 3ds would sell, but maybe a Shiggy 3ds. Reggie just isn't a rock star to me.

Yeah, well there's a difference between Shiggy and Reggie. Shiggy is, first and foremost, a game designer and producer. Reggie background was never in gaming, but as a corporate executive who worked his way up through a variety of companies. I don't know that he isn't charismatic--I could certainly imagine that he could develop a rapport with similarly situated business people. I just don't think he's all that charismatic in respect to the demographic that buys games.

If i didn't have a 3DS already i'd probably go with a Doctor Who 3DS... But having a hitler 3DS would be pretty cool since you would probably have the only 3DS in the world based on hitler. (joking)

The purple 3DS is not a confirmed thing, and the cover image does not necessarily represent what the actual 3DS would look like if it were actually coming out.

This makes me wish that there was a "Fi App" in the game shop, where Fi popped up during any game when your battery was dying and said "Master, you have __% remaining. Please plug your system into the charger."

Dang, that's a pretty 3DS. Too bad I already have a blue one... I wish the purple was available at launch.
