[ZU Meetup Extravaganza] England! UK'ers let's rock it like we always do!

I'm talking about the train fare. £210 seriously guys, I'm not that rich.

I'm all for a meet-up, but it could prove tricky for myself. Have we got a confirmed place for the meet yet?.

Depending on where it is will determine if i am able to show up to it or not.

To be fair, no matter where we meet up, someone is going to have to pay more than someone else, simply because of where we all are. I'm all for Birmingham to be honest. It's, as Lavvy La Froo said, smack bang in the middle and it's actually an alright place (social-wise). I think it'd be ideal if someone who lives around there could lead it, as Awkin said. It seems that no one is really willing to lead this thing now, though. If no one steps up, I'll be willing to co-lead it with someone (I couldn't do it on my own, super busy at the moment with work). I can research into Birmingham and see where the best place for a meetup, food, etc would be. It's not too far, not like, London far. London is an awkward place.

It's a damn bloody shame Asia's not able to lead it. It makes everything so awkward. >.>

Right. We seriously need to start agreeing on a date and a location.

As for locations, so far suggestions include
- London
- Manchester
- Birmingham
- York

Any other suggestions? If not, I say we open up a poll and have people vote for their preferred location.

As for the date, I think everyone interested should post any date that they can't make it. Then we'll just grab a calendar, cross out all the dates someone can't make it and then find a nice date everyone can make it.

As for me, I can't come from the 19th to the 26th

I'm near Newcastle, so I probably won't be attending. Travelling is a **** load x:

I'll be in England for three weeks starting on July 1st. I'll be in London for a few days, then Somerset for a week, then Dorset for a bit, then back to London until I go back to the States. I'll be sure t attend a meetup if I'm around at the time and my Dad is okay with it.

I have a suggestion for a location, Portsmouth, its nice and central and its a real nice place
