Philly/New York/Jersey/New England Meet Up?

How about a North East US meet up?

Not really sure when, where and who, but its a thought atleast. Any interest?

I'd be interested. I live near the CT/NY border about an hour from NYC, so I should be able to make a meet-up in that area. Possibly as far as the Boston area as well, but farther than that isn't likely.

I'm in MA, but I have school and work so often I am just going to decide in advance that I can't make it. And I wouldn't go anyway if it's not in Mass or New Hampshire (which are close enough), so if there are more people in other areas, I'd suggest you plan it out there somewhere.

We could meet up at AnimeBoston 2010.
It's the first week-end of April.

New York makes most geographic SENSE, but I support any event in Boston because I kind of live here.

I imagine first of all that everyone should probably mention where they live, so it can be held within reach of most members.
It seems like everyone's vaguely concentrated around the middle-southern-west of New England.

I'm in South Jersey, half an hour to Philly, an hour to New York, and longer to anywhere else.

I'm from North New Jersey.

I can do the NYC area and I'm already attending Anime Boston so it really depends on when and where this thing is held.

Me and Saber (assuming she would want to go) are down in Maryland. Farther south is better if you want to see me there, but the chances I'd be able to go are slim anyways, so don't factor me in with your location planning.

For what's been suggested so far: NYC is a 5 hour drive from where I am. Which is not fun.

Some of my family lives in Belleville, NJ. Which is pretty much right next to Newark and about a twenty minute drive from the Lincoln Tunnel.

No idea when I'd be back up there, but that would be my location if I should ever be up north.

Not sure if there's half a person that I'd even consider meeting though.

I'd like to go, even if I'm like, 1100 miles from NYC. If you guys do it in the summer, I may just be there, because I plan on visiting NYC for a personal vacation anyway. Hell, I would also like to meet Cap too, he lives in Massachutses though, and I really doubt he'd be down for meeting any ZU'ers.

However, I wouldn't mind going. Just as long as Stony doesn't come, I'll be good.

I'm currently living in Holyoke, MA, but I make regular excursions into northern CT. I literally live right off the exit ramp of I-91. About an hour and a half from Albany, a couple hours from Boston.

Depending who goes, I may or may not be up for it. Sure as hell ain't attending a weeaboo anime expo though, so count me out of that.


EDIT: Lozzie and BGS are both in the Boston area. We were supposed to meet up last year but that fell through.

Instead of focusing on where, why don't we focus on when.

When are you guys most likely to be available? Spring, summer, what?

It's technically not my house, I just rent a room.

I can probably get away with convincing the owner to let somebody crash on the kitchen couch though for a night. It has been done before.
