Standard online job-searching.

3. Remember how your interview went, and the answers you gave?
Why should I hire you?
Why did you leave your last job?
I'll pay you this amount, is that ok?
etc?

Yeah, I do. I got asked to, first off, present my portfolio, which I did and they were super-impressed. They asked me if I had previous experience in the field, to which I said not professionally, all my artistic skill is basically self-taught, which actually impressed them more and made them appreciate my portfolio even more. They gave me different scenarios in an office, asked how I'd respond to them, asked for examples of those actions from previous jobs. We spoke about salary, and I asked for something higher based on my PR qualifications and experience (which is my original field of work). They agreed. I landed the job.

4. Why did you take this job? (money, your dream job, etc)
|
I wanted to try something different because I've been working in PR for a long time, but a the same time, I didn't want to lose out in PR? lol it seemed like wishful thinking, really, but then I came across a job where it involved public relations AND graphics design. I was stoked.

5. What skills are required for your job, including schooling.
|
Extensive knowledge with Photoshop, ImageReady, and other digital art programmes. Also, experience with public relations. It was preferable to have qualifications in graphic design, but they were open to see my portfolio because of my PR experience.
I do! Though it can be frustrating at times, overall I do enjoy it a lot.
