Respected ZU Musicians - your submissions

Though in myself am as organised as a confused dazed centipede trying to tapdance, I DO realise the importance of organisation :p

I see that the "Now Hiring" thread has seen much interested by The Musicians!
First - I thank you profUSELy for the interest and your generosity in sharing with us your creations
I haven't yet had the chance to listen to any, but know that it will always be an honour for the ZUCast to source it's music from within the community! ^____^

Naturally, you'll be credited for any music that we DO use of yours.
We cannot promise we'll use all tracks submitted, and not within the next Cast -- and rather, it depends on the section/segment and which musical piece best suits it =)


Feel free to submit all sorts of musical creations!


(Can I have a mods please split the music discussion posts within the Now Hiring thread and merge 'em with this one? many thanks)

EDIT: On another note, i spoke with my band last night at practice and we are all more than happy to do a live online gig for ZU if you would like. Depending on weather we can get a laptop and web cam in the practice rooms. I'm sure we could. xP

I downloaded and attempted to use Audacity rather than my friend Windows Sound Recorder.

I swear it sounded like I was listening to an American Idol audition.

Anyways, like I said in the Hiring thread, I wanted to do the Zelda theme with my guitars, but "heavy metal Zelda" is too overdone so I went with a spanish style.

I'm just gonna go ahead and say it:

This one's an original, just thought I'd post it.

Oh wow, this is pretty cool. Alright, so a lil background on me, I make hip hop beats, and I know a lot of you probably don't care for that music, but, I do, AND, my beats aren't really your typical beats. Their not like the kind you would really hear on the radio, so, maybe you'd like these ones? I don't know lol.


Anyways, I've been told I'm pretty good at making beats, and I've got talent there, however, I am not so good at rapping, so, these are all instrumental. Because of that reason, I keep them pretty short, most are no more then a minute long. Actualy, none are lol.

Even if these aren't used, I wouldn't really care, I just want to get my music out there and heard. One thing I WOULD like though, is some feedback, doesn't gotta be good or bad, just general feedback. Don't be afraid to tell me you don't like them or anything, because criticism will let me know what I'm doing wrong, and will help me become a better producer.


ANd so I don't look like a hypocrite, Here's some of my feedback for the music you guys have already posted.

Grass: That windmill theme was awesome, rlyh-song wasn't bad either, keep doin your thing homie.

Quark: Interesting, I like the thing you do with synthesizers mixed in with live instruments (or possibly samples?). I really liked that grandfather rock

Cody: entertaining stuff.

Everybody is giving amazing stuff. Going to be hard to pick what we want. I want to settle this fast as possible so I'm going to talk with the person in charge of music.
