So.. What's the Dealie? *FAQ*!
- Alright .. since when has this place been here? what is this place?
ThIS is the community base for ANYTHIng related to Zelda Universe' official community podcast! =D besides any other productions the ZUBC might work on and release! ^___^ - SoOoOOo.. what's in the podcast? All sorts of things! A monthly news roundup of the most important happenings, a fixed interview slot each month with a renowned respected member, ZU Highlights, rants, chats, talking points - and discussions regarding all sorts of forum happenings and topics that have featured within the past month around the forums - Wait, so .. only ZUBC staff are allowed to contribute stuff? :< Heck no! I WELCOME ALL SUGGESTIONS AND RECORDED IDEAS FROM MEMBERS! :> Think you have a winning entertaining idea for a wee segment? a little creative drama perhaps? a song? poem for ZU? ANYTHING? record it and send it my way! make sure that it is no longer than 3 minutes however ^_______^ - Alright.. so who ARE the ZUBC staff at the moment? Galedeep is the Godfather of this whole project Myself am the Producer/Director and Content manager, Hombre de Mundo is co-Director Asci, Link and Liah are our most esteemed Hosts! Margar and Aniday are our lovely Editors Dom is my right hand man and our backup recorder Roscoe Rhodes is our News Man Selah is out Beneath the ZU Spotlight Reporter We then have members who contribute regular/semi regular segments like: Cody and his infamous Rants! Big Bro Davidia and his heartwarming Fireside Chats Power Shot contributing with his Fantastical stories of .. I'll need to go back and check on the title again :< Future with his beautiful Playing with Sayings - Groovy! I don't have an idea for a programme but can I want to lend my voice to this! Can I? pleasepleaseplease? Sure! Send me a sample of your voice talking and answering this same basic question we used to find our hosts: "What do you like/dislike about ZU? and why?" That way, I'll have you in my mental directory of possible voices if and when I have a segment idea but no one to voice it for me ^__^ - Hmmm... ok.. what if I don't have any huge suggestions for programmes but just want to give a wee heads up about something that happened during the week that might be cool to mention in the news Section or something? that's fantastic! If you have anything you feel is worthy of news, post it in DIUM's news thread, and if you have a suggestion or recommendation for Highlights for the month, post so in Selah's Beneath the ZU Spotlight thread ^____^ Any more questions? - Uhm.. Great! ^______^ -WAIT! I have another one! what's with all the strange prefixes in thread titles? Ahaa, clever personage that you are! :> the tags are as follows: [Pods] - if the thread is referencing content FROM the podcast itself [VT] - if it's just a voice thread - a voice thread is one where the thread is based on members replying to one another using VOICE! ^-^ .. uhm.. I'll add any other tags as I think of them :< (feel free to ask more questions if you have them)

We're working on it, trust me. It takes a while to get the basic premise and routine figured out, but once we get the hang of it, the podcast is here to stay.

Several different terrible things have happened to hold the whole thing back, such as DIUM traveling to America, Asia traveling to Libya, us losing all our concentration, having to re-record several times due to the recordings being too quiet, and these setbacks leading to the news becoming dated. These are.. Not too great of events. We're most definitely working on it, though.

It's nearly done, correct? My sources said it was.
My source was namely that I got access to Podcom for a short time and I read about it there. But my access is gone now.

Just to let everyone know, Heretic-Gamer has been thinking about making a podcast since day 1, so if we do decide to make one, it isn't because we "stole ZU's idea".
And I'm not claiming they stole the idea from us either. We never told people we wanted to make a podcast, there's no way ZU would have known. We probably won't end up making one. Quote:

The podcast is disturbingly long, and bandwidth usage of streaming something that big is...staggering. But we'll see on that.
(And non-streamed I'd put in a .zip)

Okay, I am going to make it so that each new official podcast release thread reMAINS stickied in this forum to make it easier for people to find and locate all the previous podcasts! better? ^____^ And now, I'm going to rewrite the whole FAQ to make it more up to date with where we stand with stuff so far! =D GET INVOLVED, PEOPLE! :>
