ZU Musicians - Your Challenge, should you choose to accept it ..
.. Is to create the official ZUCast jingle/theme song/theme tune.
I know I said this elsewhere and people have alREADY started submitting, but let's be organised ^_________^ It should be SHORT Catchy in some way and reflective of ZU in SOME way. Whether you include elements of zelda music or have a wee song or just a tune - it's up to you. I'll get back to you on precisely how long it should be. It'll be something played (either in full or in wee bits) at the beginning and at the end of the Cast. having a distinctive tune to it would open doors because other "versions" could then be produced of it as well maybe as background music to some pieces if needs be. You have a Week and a Half from now to come up with something. Please submit as an MP3! The Prize: A batch of cookies made for you by Scott. Real ones :3 Now get creative and spread the word! ^______^ (if you HAVE submitted something already in another thread, can I please be a pain and ask that you re-submit here? Many thanks!)

I downloaded this really cool sound editing program (thanks sugarpoultry and Buzz!^_^) and have decided to make some jingles with it. Here are three that I thought would be really cool if used:
Grail Jingle - Inspired by my earlier post. Pirates Jingle Tiger Jingle - My personal favorite of the three.

I propose it be me singing a cappella various songs from Zelda. You can pick whatever song you like, and it can be different every podcast.
This is what it sounds like when I'm horribly sick (did this one yesterday and have the urge to finish it completely): http://thejasoneffect.net/music/yayocean.mp3 That's when I'm bored and wanna record something for fun. When my voice isn't absolutely butchered and destroyed by throat viruses, it sounds MUCH better. Oh, and I realize that the introduction part of that recording up there doesn't match the actual Ocean theme from Wind Waker - I was just lazy. I'm sick, cut me some slack! I know every single Wind Waker song by heart, including harmonies and percussion parts - and that's no exaggeration. Know some of OoT, and some TP. Minish Cap I also know a good bunch.

I took the time to do the second verse and fix the intro. Does it sound horrible? Oh yes! I totally failed the very last high note... I couldn't hit it high enough, 'cause I'm sick.  I didn't feel like going back and fixing that one high note to sound pretty, though.http://thejasoneffect.net/music/yayocean.mp3 Ah, falsetto just doesn't agree with me today... EDITEDITEDIT: I couldn't stand it so much that I went back and changed it. The MP3 sounds at least *slightly* nicer now, even though it still sounds like crappy sick people.

Bah! Words are overrated. How many classical pieces are instilled in our brains? Fur Elise, Symphony No. 9, etc. None of those have words, yet we all recognize the songs. Well, we don't all know the names, but we recognize them all the same.
