Since these positions will be very important and will be pivotal in drawing in listeners or not, we ask that you submit in your applications for this positions. Please refer below for the ...

TERMS:

-The topic you shall speak about is: "What annoys and/or Makes you happy on ZU? and why?"

- You should speak for no less than 1 minute to a maximum of 2 and a half minutes

We'll be looking for CLARITY, Fun factor, fluency and NOT monotonous-ness x_x

You must also be Dependable.
The Podcast will run weekly so if you know you;re not going to be around for stretches of time, don't apply. Hosts will be the familiar constant faces so , keep that in mind ^__^

Of *COURSE* all this stuff would start the week I send my laptop in to be fixed.

I certainly hope that I can find a time where there are no people in the house so that I can record on the family computer without being interrupted too badly.

Bear one thing in mind though, peoples - CLARITY. If you have much music in the background, it can make it a wee bit busy and confusing.

Alright... Umm... A little problem with my thingy is I did what Scott did, I made it up as I go along... Sooo... You may notice things like white noise, because my mic is sensitive to blowing and such... And I pretty much say "Pretty much" a lot... But that won't be a problem as if I had a script, I would say "pretty much" less often...

I pronounced it right after I heard her voice clip whatsit in that thread, and was sent a wee voice clip from luckzray telling me how to say it right ;D

Link- here's a tip that we use here in the radio biz-
don't talk into the mic. there are 2 things you can do:
1- you can put it below your mouth, so that your words are directed just above the mic
2- turn the mic sideways next to your mouth and speak past it.

both of these methods make sure that only sound waves, not air, go into the mic
other than that, you sound good!

I've tried for the last hour to post a demo, and between tindeck being a poophead and my computer hating me, It can't be done right now. I'll try again some other time i suppose.

Er, I'd just done a really nice one, and I tried to upload it, and SURPRISE SURPRISE, it deleted the whole stupid thing. So, I went on a semi-coherent rant for my next one. <_<.

I loved that part. ^_^

One thing you might want to work on though is the distance between your mouth and the mic. You seemed to be way to close. Every time you make a sound that sent out extra air (like words with "p" and "t"), it overloaded the microphone.

I'll also experiment some more. My computer doesn't have a microphone, but my MP3 player does. So I talk on my MP3 player and upload it on to my computer.
