I have some problems with this.
The purpose of disconnecting
FSA from
ALttP is so that you can have
AT: WW -
FSA
CT:
TP -
ALttP
Correct?
Otherwise you could have
FSA -
ALttP on either AT or CT...
----------------------------------------
So if you accept:
AT: WW -
FSA
CT:
TP -
ALttP
Then you have
ALttP's desert dungeon in CT, and also in the AT after
Hyrule was flooded... that's one problem.
Second, you have to throw out the Palace of the Four Sword.
FSA -
ALttP
gives us a reason why we find the Four Sword in
ALttP's Dark World. Since
Ganon was sealed in the Four Sword, it was taken with him when he entered
the Dark World.
Third,
FSA acts as the explanation for Ganon's Trident in
ALttP.
Fourth, the group of non-Gerudo thieves in
FSA explain
ALttP's
forest thieves and Dark World thieves, the greedy men who were
drawn to the Dark World.
Fifth, the dark clouds and weather disturbances tie in to the old
ALttP manual.
It is convenient to ignore all this, but what was left intact I see as clear
ties of
FSA -
ALttP, not an irrelevant shell.
Furthermore based on the removed Ganondorf quotes in
TP, I would
say that the developers still had the
TP -
FSA -
ALttP order in mind while
TP was being made, this would mean that the "tea table" did not clearly
establish a rule saying that
FSA -
ALttP is not so. This idea appears to be
in consideration, not an idea thrown out permanently back when
FSA was
made...
The removal of the
TP quotes may negate this, then again they may not have wished
to tie themselves down just yet, or maybe they didn't want that sort of
touch inserted at the point in the game for reasons of personal taste.
I don't understand what you said about the "missing text dump" if it's
missing, then how do you know what they changed?
