Cementing AoL on the CT

^ Doesn't this mean that LoZ Zelda lived in the LoZ map?
If Zelda lived in the LoZ map, shouldn't there have been a castle there?

Yes, there should, but then Ganon destroyed all the buildings in the LoZ area forcing the population North. That's why LoZ is so empty and everyone who has remained in that part is living in a cave.
