you fail to see my point, fans make things THAT DON'T EXIST. like FANFIC i bet if someone who had memorized all the Zelda games could go through a Zelda wiki and point out what is materialization and what is true. mainly materialization. because someone who dosn't even know about Zelda can go on there and edit. see what i mean?

If you are so fine-tuned to reality, then please explain to me how a fan is just as reliable as a developer. Please tell me what point there is in developers lying for their personal benefit when they are just explaining their creation. You're going to have a hard time telling someone that they've lost a debate when you're the one that's saying that random fans are more reliable than developers. Alternately, tell me one time in an interview where the interviewee lied for personal benefit. Was Miyamoto promised 50,000 yen for reciting his timeline in 1998? As for the developers not knowing what the future holds, that's why they modify the original stories or downright retcon things.

Someone needs to roll up in a corner and feel ashamed. Even I know "erred" is legit english. And english is not even my first language.

I'd like to back up whoever said that Wikis are not to be trusted on everything. Zeldawiki had several mistakes (such as claiming there was a subrosian queen) that went uncorrected for months. I know people there do their best but it's hard to spot every mess up or flaw. Not even the oh so great Wikipedia manages to get everything right.
Zeldawiki is a good place to start if you want info. But once it gets "serious" you should check your facts and look at the source/the games.

I was never saying it was a good source of info for debating, but Link92 kept bashing it, saying it is less reliable than Wikipedia, where they undo edits by proffessionals and banned one of the co-founders for trying to set them straight.

ZW doesn't even follow normal wiki standards because of how stupid some of them are.

Well, there isn't much reason for them to tell the truth, now is there? Besides, most of what they say will be changed in future games anyway, so it doesn't really matter if they give out factual information.

They are gaining happiness, smart one. If that's all they wish, and they gain it from giving out excess food, then so be it. They're still doing it for personal gain.

Is there any reason for them to lie? Also, even if they do, we have to assume that the most recent statement is the most accurate. You consider it lying twice, but everyone else considers it a change of plans. For instance, WW screws up the OoT-LttP connection, so they changed it (maybe, this is just an example). Did they lie in 1998 about the OoT-LttP connection, or did the situation change?
