There can be no game that involves a Link (CERTAINLY no Link that succeeds) between Ocarina of Time and The Wind Waker. Particularly aLttP in which the Triforce is put back together and Ganon killed- two things that NEED still to be the case for tWW.

Not only that, but ALTTP's end credits explicitly say "The Master Sword sleeps again...FOREVER!" Meaning no game featuring the Master Sword (with the possible exception of OoX) can take place after ALTTP.

Why is that a possible exception? Cause it's possibly not canon?

Agreed. And LA, but I think OOX Link is too younger than ALTTP, or at least looks it.

Because OoX is pretty much universally considered to be an ALTTP sequel despite the Master Sword inconsistency, and Capcom was just reusing all kinds of ideas without regard for canonicity.
