ALttP's Sanctuary

This depends on a bit of backwards story-telling, but I was thinking that
the colorful stained glass windows in ALttP's sanctuary might be the
stained-glass windows we see in the end of The Minish Cap which depict
Link and Elzo empowering the Four Sword. The windows along the northern
wall of ALttP's Sanctuary are divided into four sections, like the Four Sword.
Also the Sanctuary has a single golden triangle above the secret passage. Could
this triangle be the Light Force?



Also take into consideration the MC/FS/FSA/ALttP arc which explains
the ALttP Trident and gives the Dark World Four Sword Palace a (vague)
backstory.

EDIT:

Perhaps the purpose of the Sanctuary is to pray for the Light Force
(remember that the WW sages prayed to the gods to return the glowing
power to repel evil to the MS from the Temples)...well in the WW backstory
the people of Hyrule pray to the gods as well, so maybe the sages pray in the
Temples, and the people pray in the Sanctuary...

This is a very interestings theory, Cukeman. Good find there! I might look into it mroe myself... It's sad that the theroy, like many, has to follow the concept of the timeline to have fufiled, such as The Minish Cap happening before A Link to the Past on (obiously) the same timeline, or before the split...

Also consider the church-like room seen at the end of FSA.

I remember, but you all convinced me it wasn't the ToT, more likely it's
the east wing of Hyrule castle, but it isn't much like the Sanctuary, so I'm
asking for more details

I support that Kokiri Sword/Four Sword and Kokiri/Minish are the same or relataed. I also support that Smerthios is a reincarnation of Nerusihi, who is River Zora's secret brother, and there is some hidden plot against me in the theorizing forum board.I also believe that Cukeman himself is my own reincarnation, and he has come to change the way I theorize so that he can change the theorizing board future.

I seriously need to stop licking those fairies.. they're making me see things... >_>

Well there's this image... I guess I am suggesting that this is part of
a series of stained glass windows in the Sanctuary...



EDIT: The idea is that the Sanctuary was built to honor
MC Link and the Light Force...

You do realize that Smertios is not a newer member, but an older one that just showed up out of nowhere one day, right? He's been a member here a lot longer than Nerusihi.

Cukeman i find it interesting that the picture(second one you posted) shows five swords. Is this supposed to mean the Picori Blade was a combination of several swords somehow?

It's showing the White Sword as it progressed through TMC (purple as the broken Picori Blade, green as the White Sword with no elements, red with the Earth and Fire elements, and blue with Earth, Fire, and Water) and the fully powered Four Sword.

An equally acceptable answer is that the four swords represent the four elements
and the sword in Link's hand is the completed Four Sword once it has been
imbued with all the elements

Also, keep in mind that the four swords in the stained glass window are the same as the ones we collect in the Palace of the Four Sword.

Only because they're the colours of FS Links.

^ I know. It's just interesting that the swords look the same. Personally, I consider the four swords from the Palace of the Four Sword to be the Elements that were originally infused into the Picori Blade in TMC.

If it were backwards storytelling, the Minish Cap stained glass art would've looked more like the windows from Link to the Past. The single triangle between four colored windows is a pretty strong resemblance, though.

If the rest of the sanctuary is built around the MC story, what would the figure on the altar be?

Interestingly, both the Four Sword Sancturary and the Sanctuary not only have the single triangle (Light Force ) and stained-glass windows, but they both appear to be a little beyond Hyrule in the geographical location.

If Hyrule Castle, based on the maps, moved south of its previous location to where Hyrule Town was, the Four Sword Sanctuary, left behind, would be north of the castle's new location during A Link to the Past- the Sactury is north of the castle.
