Could anyone pull the master sword in the Adult Timeline?

Since the master sword is just stuck in Ganondorf's head and not in the Pedestal of Time, couldn't anyone pull it? Like, im saying, what if the ocean started to dry up, and old hyrule was revealed again? Couldn't just any old one come up and be like, oh! A sword! Just let me take this...

and even if ganondorf couldn't be revived, some other evil could get ahold of the sword?

Re: Could anyone pull the master sword in the Adult Timeline?

They could, in my AT there isn't another sign of the Master Sword, so it doesn't matter to me. Although it's implied that the Sword is lost with lots of the rest of Hyrule underwater over time. But, in theory, after the land reforms someone could find it. After all that time probably nothing but a trophy though!

Actually, if I remember correctly only one with a pure heart can even touch the Master Sword(hence the nickname "The Blade of Evil's Bane)

Re: Could anyone pull the master sword in the Adult Timeline?

1. Aonuma said Ganondorf is dead. He can get revived or reborn, though (FSA).

2. No evil could get their hands on it because evil can't touch the Master Sword.

So, to answer you question: not only can they, but the popular belief on this forum is they do (2D games on Adult Timeline).

You don't think that the master sword would be powerful after all that time? wouldn't the sages from Wind Waker still be providing power to the sword? unless they were killed off by another monster>_<

Re: Could anyone pull the master sword in the Adult Timeline?

Given the state of the world at the time it was lost, I suspect it would either rust into dust or become de-powered again before it was ever recovered. Lost on the ocean floor, it would no longer serve any purpose, so there is no telling if there is any incentive anymore for the few Sages appointed in WW to continue being concerned over it. I doubt all the salt water would help much with it's condition. If it was found, and was de-powered, perhaps anyone could lift it.

^ as far as we know they are no longer praying for the power to repel evil to remain in sword, so it may not be particularily useful.

yeah, your right. since the master sword isnt in the pedestal, it would rust and deteriate.

yeah, i actually forgot about this. haha wow im stupid. But still, couldn't someone good find it and then get turned evil(such as how Bellum possessed Linebeck in PH?) But i guess that would also mean that the person would be evil still. Hmm.. but maybe not=// Idk.

Well, seeing that the old sages of the master sword stayed even after death to teach the new people how to protect it, i dont think Makar and Medley would just up and leave lol.

haha im talking about after the Wind Waker, when the ocean starts drying up;]]
So, the temples would still be intact, but since it flooded and they were on islands, they would just be really high up(on mountains).
