A slightly different timeline

I think this timeline is great:

But I have one problem with it: Why is MM with the Child Timeline? It doesn't make sense to me. WW even hints about MM. So shouldn't it be in the Adult Timeline?

But MM being in the adult timeline is impossible :/

Link is a child in MM, and a direct sequel of OoT. If it were on the adult timeline, Link would be an adult.

MM can't be placed in the Adult Timeline, because its protagonist is the Young Link, so it can only be in the Child Timeline. Moreover, in the end of OoT, Link is brought back to the past to live the childhood he'd lost. So, there's no Link in the AT.

that and Nintendo confirmed that MM does take place in the child timeline.

1. That is what the developers say the timeline is.

2. When TWW says the hero left Hyrule, it was a mistranslation. It actually referred to him going back in time.

It's been said, but again:

Think about it. The adult timeline ends when Link gets sent back in time by Zelda. So how can he possibly star in another game?

Out of interest, to what hints were you referring, or what did you see in WW that reminded you of MM? I can't remember WW having any oblique references to MM.

Well, in WW it says that the hero of time left hyrule, and the TOC was split into peices and scattered around the great sea. I was assuming that meant MM.
