As for TMC BS, i doubt it is supposed to be the events of OoX. Theer's too little supporting it. I'd say that things go this way:

TWW/PH-[AoL BS: sleeping princess]-[TMC BS: the bound chest]-[FSA BS: Ganon and the trident]-TMC-[FS BS: vaati]-FS/FSA--->

It seems that people no longer play games just to have fun, and people take development for granted. It's so sad. Right, moving on.

I just had a thought. Doesn't the Minish only appear every 100 years or so? So wouldn't that mean that the Picori Blade would have appeared a century ago? I honestly don't think that OoX - TMC has a hundred year gap.

I agree that OoX probably isn't TMC's backstory, but I'd like to see your reasoning for this nonetheless.

In all serious'ness, I think it just depends on preference. Some people believe that the HoM is a different Link that we've never seen before.

Nothing in the game ever even remotely hints that the HoM is Gustaf.

Because boxes are canon? If the alltp box taught me anything. It's not to consider marketing techniques and advertisements as canon.

They've been accurate so far...

Proof? The topic of the Alttp box has been debated to death. Thing is. The stuff on the box is not on the Japanese. Therefore, not canon.

ALttP shouldnt be taken into consideration as that game is full of mistralations.
But from OoT and beyond, they have been pretty accurate.
Plus, I only posted that as a reference, something to think about, not something that should be considered as fact.

No other box has timeline relevant information.
