Is Ganondorf Agahnim?

Ganondorf became Ganon when he touched the Triforce. His evil combined with the Triforce's power made him a demon.

i always thought that Ganon was just part of Ganondorf's shapeshifting abilities.

According to the SNES aLttP Manual, when Ganon touched the Triforce the "Jaaku no Ou" [Japanese for King of Evil] was born.

According to OoT, Ganon touched the Triforce and became the "Daimaou" [Great Demon King]

Wasn't that stated in LoZ too?

I thing that Ganon is beginning to look more and more like a pig/boar.

In LoZ he's called the Daimaou, but it's not stated how/why he has that title.

indeed, there was no reason to receive such title without ever doing anything.
when Ganondorf recieved the Triforce of power he didn't do anything that evil yet.

All "titles" besides daimaou aren't really important.

I still say that ganondorf took on the guise of Aghanim to fool the king, since he was known in his original form. he became an advisor and then betrayed him, using his power to possess the guards and capture the girls to open the DW and allow ganon to escape; possibly he could not bring the ToP with him, and therefore can only return in his gerudo form. his armies, triforce power, and his Ganon form were still sealed away and could not take over the LW until he destroys the seal.

In OoX, Twinrova repeatedly calls him the Daimaou, but when he gets ressurected, he claims a new title for hismelf: Yami no Maou.

The Trident in FSA specifically states that it has the powers to turn whoever holds it into the Yami no Ou.

ok, so the only titles that actually matter are Daimaou and Yami no maou

...which are pretty much his only "main" titles.
Majuu is the only other title that gets used more than once.

look at it this way:

1. he becomes a YNM in FSA, but he is still a daimaou, because he till has a makai.
2. he loses the YNM title for some reason
3. the whole OoX thing happens

He doesn't have to be a Daimaou to have a makai. He just has to be a Maou...and as a Yami no Maou..well you get it

No, he doesn't.
The only game where it's stated that he becomes a Daimaou is OoT, but he bears that title in several games.
In aLttP, he's called the Yami no Maou.

hmm, that might make me switch from FSA-LttP/LA-OoX-LoZ/AoL to FSA-LttP/LA-OoA[past]-LoZ/AoL -OoS/OoA[present]...

Well for the record, Twinrova refers to Ganon as the Daimaou about a dozen times in OoX.
When they resurrect him, he gives himself the title of Yami no Maou...just one of the reasons that I like OoT-WW-PH-LoZ-AoL-OoX as a segment prior to FSA-aLttP...lumps all the Daimaou game together, and all the games of Yami no Maou together. OoX then serves as the connector game, as he's referenced as having been the Daimaou when he was alive, but calls himself the Yami no Maou when he's resurrected.

Well, having daimaou-YNM-daimaou-YNM isn't bad actually. But, as i said numerous times, you do have the titles on your side...

Why wouldn't the flip-flopping of names be bad thing?

because it would show that his power is going down and up everytime, which actually happens...

it has nothing to do with the amount of power. It is just a change in name.
