LA may work nicely after ALttP. But you still need to explain to me why there is no Marin, Tarin, Rolling Bones, etc in ALttP.

Dream are twisted... so it doesn't need to be exact and have everyone. I agree that LA is after aLttP, though not having played it I ask, what are the connections between LA and aLttP Link that make people believe they are the same? I, however, see none with the TP Link though!

However, we still have DI on our side. You have nothing but age, which happens normally as time passes anyways. Which in our placement it takes place long enough after for him to be that age.

Really. Well I feel like giving up with theorizing about timelines. There's just no way that I can be different about it. I don't want to be a carbon copy like everyone.

It wasn't that we didn't get your sarcasm, it's that it wasn't welcome in our Zelda discussions. If you forgot, we reminded you several times that theorizing at ZI is a pretty "serious" venture, and we wont take kindly to "sarcasm" from a new member who's first impression was shot to hell.


That being said, go ahead and make your timeline different then others. Heck, be a linearest if you want, or start to include the sound and drama script as Canon and see where that takes you.

My Advice...Okay, firstly... if you want to get the perfect Zelda timeline and be a good timeline theorist as you have stated you can't decide just on what other's think, or by trying to be different. Your timeline with a few adjustments like this is great:

-----/TWW/PH - LoZ/AoL - OoX - TRR - TMC - FS/FSA - ALttP/LA
OoT
-----\MM - TP

That's pretty much the best timeline there is, and saying anything but that is of course going to receive debate. I'm not going to stop you, but you say you want to become an expert timeline theorist, so don't give up... Either adapt your timeline to what others have, because we have what works as of the current. If you go against that, it will take a master timeline theorist to convince others... so that's the challenge for your step up... gather better evidence for your LA placement.

Secondly, don't bag ZI... Both ZU and ZI are great sites... ZI is the hardcore theorist site, and unless you take some serious evidence of your placement over there that's convincing, you won't get far...

It was said that a mythical creature, the Wind Fish, lay asleep inside the egg.

You set out in search of your lost sword that washed up on the beach with you.

Okay, so it does mention Ganon in the translations. However there was a Ganon in TP. >_>

Well, that's the way theorizing can often seem, but I encourage you not to give up!

Goron Moron, that's actually a great timeline. Just remember that the best theories are those supported by most people and, more importantly, more evidence towards the. So, to make a theory believable, we try to find evidence supporting it and then try to convince other people about it. It's just how it works.

And if you pay enough attention to it, most timelines are similar. There are just a few issues that are not clear enough to us like the placement of the LoZ-AoL and OoX archs. Just remember that truth indeed exists and all we are trying to do is getting closer and closer to it. Theorizing is not inventing things to create cool timelines afterall. So, just remember that and you'll do fine, because you got the idea already.
