No they aren't. Kokiri are forest spirits created by the GDT and take on the form of children.
Oh and proof for Navi not being exposed to children?
She was exposed to Link who is not a Kokiri.

not angry, maybe he was angry and scared at the same time but in a very volatile way.

who knows why he reacted that way...let's make a thread based of what where the HMS' emotions or feelings when Link didn't made his promise.

He's been that way since OoT.

I believe that he is a decendant of the tribe that created the mask. Since the tribe sealed Majora inside a mask, I think he sealed people that he met inside the masks that he carries (it would explain why none of them are smiling).

As you said, the way it fits it's incredible,but could be mere coincidence or it was intented by the artist so people could see the conection between the HMS and the MM.

Some answers to your statements and questions

HMS's original colour scheme was purple in OOT

At the end SK says that Link smells like the one who taught him the song in the forest. Implying that he was the same guy that Link taught Saria's Song to, so he certainly came from Hyrule.

Majora doesn't neccessarily have to be the guy sealed into the mask, it could be the guy who originally owned it to use hexing rituals.

I always, noticed that the Mask Salesman has a very similar sounding laugh to Vaati's from tMC (if not the exact same sound clip). I'm not sure if that had any kind of relevency though, or if Nintendo simply reused the sound.
