Personal Views on Points of Controversy II

No one told me that. I actually read the translations. I used to think the same as you. Until I realized that the world in BS LoZ isn't real. I'll give 'ya the translations.
BS The Legend of Zelda Map1 Week1 Video Translation that has the translations of a lot of stuff in the first week.

Oh and I don't mean to rent-a-mod. But in case you didn't read the opening post this thread is NOT for discussion. It is just for posting views.

Silly, it's like that because the Hero comes from another world (our world) and will soon go back to it. And yes, I'll stop discussing now.

Alright after serious thought, I've revoked my claim on official art not being Canon, I think the Master sword = Magical sword and I do not believe the quote of the MS to be Canon anymore.

That being said I believe AST is now Canon along with BS LoZ. I've also come up with a reasonable explanation for shield design and my timeline is as follows.

Just for the record OoX-LoZ doesn't work the best because of the Triforce. It would be better for you to reverse the LoZ and OoX placements.

I hereby say that Official art is Canon, the MgS=MS and AST and BS LoZ are Canon.

Tbh, Idk about LoZ much. Atm, not enough material. We need to wait for LoZ to be ZM'd, so we can see stuff like the MgS/MS, Ganon+ToP etc, relationship.

I say that official art is of ALttP Ganon, since it matched the official art of ALttP more than LoZ. So yeah, it's canon. LoZ Ganon still doesn't have the trident, though. I don't know how to explain his exictance in LoZ, if the game is set late, without the trident unless he didn't really die in ALttP.

Use AST and you don't have to worry about a thing.

BS LoZ is probably the closest thing we're going to get to it being Zero Mission'd.

Not really sure what to think of AST, BSLoZ or official art anymore.

But I'm now positive that the GolS =/= the MS.

Alright I've gotten my veiws strait.

The MagS =/= the MS.
The GolS =/= the MS.
Official art = Canon unless negated by another peice of evidance.
Ganon did not have the Trident in LoZ.
AST = Canon.
The MS quote at the end of ALttP is Valid.
The sword put into the pedestal at the end was not the MS.

-Re-added the S&D theory that Ganon recieved the 3 seperate Triforce pieces, combined them, and got his wish, all prior to LttP.

-Updated views on the Yorishiro. It was Twinrova, not the Trident. However, the Trident houses Ganon's unique dark magic, and this power can corrupt, so those that touch the Trident become consumed by Ganon's power, and he can revive himself. This happens in FSA.

Updated mine today to include my thoughts on PH...

-Early LoZ (again)
-Added reasons to why I don't believe some things such as the Trident in LoZ.
