The Bombers
History of the Bombers
The Bombers had their origins here at Zelda Universe in 2007, when, because of the interest in Zelda theorizing, a theory-writing contest was announced. Among all the entries, ten were chosen, and the writers became the founding members of the Bombers.
The Bombers planned to write articles on a regular basis for Zelda Universe, but only four were released. Headed up by Captain Cornflake and Lemines, the Bombers and some others formed a new website with an emphasis on Zelda theorizing and discussion:
ZeldaInformer. With the confirmation of the Split Timeline by Eiji Aonuma, theorizing had become dull, and was in need of a "fresh start", and ZeldaInformer provided just that.
Since then, the Bombers have gone through many changes. Though there is still an emphasis on theories, any and all Zelda-related topics are now discussed by the Bombers, as articles are released on a regular basis at ZeldaInformer. Leminnes, who originally headed up the group, has has long since retired and left his duties to Uncle Meat, who in turn elected Nick and myself as Bombers Editors to help with the admnistrative work.
Purpose and Duties of the Bombers
The Bombers are commited to writing and releasing interesting, well-researched articles at a rate of one article per week. The goal is to provide a constant and consistent flow of Zelda-themed articles without sacrificing quality. The Bombers have high standards in terms of quality and accuracy in writing.
All members of the group write articles on a regular basis, but also give feedback and constructive criticism to the other members, ensuring that all articles are consistent with our standards. The articles are no longer confined to just theorizing topics, and many different aspects of Zelda are covered. Many of the Bombers also help with other site content as well.

Joining the Bombers
Like what you see, and think you have what it takes to join in the quest to release excellent Zelda articles? The Bombers are always on the lookout for new members for the team, and joining is simple:
1: Register an account on the
ZeldaInformer Forums.
2: Write a Zelda-themed article, at least one page in length.
3: Send the article to myself (Erimgard), nick, or Uncle Meat
Make sure you send the PM to the ZI account, as Uncle Meat and nick don't often log into
ZU, and I prefer to handle ZI-related business at ZI.
Keep in mind that because of the high writing standards, you may not necessarily be accepted into the Bombers. If you are turned down, don't be afraid to try again later when you've revised your theory to make it better, or have written a new theory.
If you have an article you'd like to contribute, but you don't feel you'll be able to join as a full-time member, we accept Guest Articles. Follow the same three steps you would if you were applying to be a Bomber, but make note that you only wish to submit your article as a Guest Article.
This thread will be updated regularly with Bombers news, and information on new articles.
