Sages on the Timeline

1) I have a couple of theories surrounding the Sages on Zelda games, more specifically, the Sages in OoT, TP and WW.
In OoT, the sages are awakened in the adult portion of the game, which means that in the child timeline, none of the OoT sages (ruto, saria, darunia etc) are awakened. This explains why the sages in TP do not look like the sages in OoT, they are different sages.
2) In WW, you have to awaken 2 sages to restore the power to the master sword, these sages serve a different purpose than the ones in OoT. I think that there are more sages in WW than the ones we are seen (earth sage: laruto/medli. wind sage: fado/makar), a group of sages that keep the power of the master sword constant. These sages may have come before or after the sages in OoT, but it doesn't really matter. What I am trying to say is that Hyrule wouldn't rely on just 2 sages to keep the power of the master sword, and the weakened master sword still has some power, just not its full power, so there must be some sages we haven't seen yet (eg. a sheikah, a goron, a gerudo, etc)
Tell me what you think of these theories, and, in case you didn't follow what I said above, here is a brief overview:
1) The sages in TP are not the sages awakened in OoT, they might be the awakened forms, but not the physical forms (Ruto, Impa, Nabooru etc). Rauru might have his physical form in the child timeline, but he might have awakened during Link's 7 year sleep, so I'm not so sure about him.
2) There are more sages in WW than the ones we are shown, but they aren't killed by Ganondorf.

I agree with point 1 fully, but I'm not so sure about point 2.
If they don't make any mention of the other sages, it's hard to say for sure.

I'm basically gonna second what Erimgard said.

I think that more sages could be awaken in tWW since Ganon killed the old ones off. But there is no reason to awake more sages so... I guess they just didn't. That would've made some wonderful side quests though

I've always wondered about the WW sages. As for there being more sages, I don't really agree with that.
The game is played through in sense with just the 2. It would have been interesting if they had introduced more people throughtout the game to take the same roles as sages like OoT, but then WW would have been extremely long.
