OoT Ganondorf: Seven Years Conflict

In OoT, we all know than Ganon was sent into the Sacred/Dark Realm in the Adult time. But the one thing than has been bugging me is this; Woylsnt that mean that the Ganon from the past was gone too?
Didnt it say somewhere in the game that Ganon follower you into the sacred Realm after you pulled out the MS?
I know that a lot of people have said that the Ganon from the past was executed or w/e, but I don't think so.
What do you guys think? Help me out here.

when link returns to the past at the very end, he returns to before he pulls the master sword. therefore, ganondorf is still here, presumably in Hyrule Castle.

I guess this leads to one of those space-time paradoxes?
its just a bit much for me and I guess I'm overthinking a little bit....

like, if link goes into the future, then that time when he left no longer has him in it since he's in the future.
going back in time to a time before when he originally left, would mean that there already is a link for that time. he would haveri return to the exact time as he left to keep things the same. (correct me if I'm wrong).

some have thought that link was transported back into his own body.
so like, his soul and mind were transported instead of his body....

there's a thread about it somewhere, called "mind travel" or something like that, which explains it.
i'm not saying that's the only explanation, but it's a fairly good one.

i dont agree with all the points about it, but it does explain this dilema very well.

It's commonly said that when Link returns after killing adult Ganon, he then tells Zelda about him and his evil ways, then Zelda warns the king and they seal him away.

It's supposedly the same cut scene as earlier in the game, where he's kneeling there, etc.

Orici and Aeffles have summed it up pretty well.
You go back to before you ever touched the Master Sword, so Ganondorf never gets the Triforce.
OoT Adult Ganon[dorf] is sealed away
OoT Child Ganondorf is still plotting how to get in the Sacred Realm

The most likely scenario for Link is that he essentially 'becomes' the Link from the Child Side.
