Terminian Arrows: A Curse?
My theory is springboarding off the very popular theory by Hylian Dan:
The Stone Tower of Babel: Why Termina was Doomed Basically, it states that the Stone Tower was a blasphemey against the goddesses. They thereby doomed Termina to destruction. My theory states that each of the four "Edge Tribes" (Deku, Goron, Zora, and Garo) received a great power to aid them while the "Center Tribes" (Hylians, Geurdos, and Ikanans) were protected by the others, all living in Clock Town. (More on Geurdos and Ikanans later) and needed no power. When the Stone Tower was constructed, these powers, which could be used to stop the destruction, were changed to an unusable form, arrows, and hidden from the Termanians, who could use them. The Deku The Deku, being the most defenseless of the "Edge Tribes," would have had a power that most likley threw blades, and when the powers were transformed, and became arrows, unusable by Deku Scrubs, and unreachable by Termanians. The Gorons The Gorons, living in a mountain, would have found fire powers useful, and when the powers were transformed, and became arrows, unusable by Gorons, and unreachable by Termanians. The Zoras The Zoras, living in an ocean, would have found ice powers useful, and when the powers were transformed, and became arrows, unusable by Zoras, and unreachable by Termanians. Geurdos: As Geurdos have no temple I assume they lived in Clock Town, receiving no power, until, possibly because of racism, they moved to the ocean The Garos The Garos, living in a cursed valley, the Garos would have found light powers useful, and when the powers were transformed, and became arrows, unusable by Garos, and unreachable by Termanians. I am assuming that the Garos have no hands, because their blades grow like fingernails, making use of arrows impossible. The Garo Master: The Garo master clearly has hands, as seen when he is defeated. My explanation: Tarzan was King of the Apes, but he wasn't an ape. Something similar may be going on with the Garo master. Another note. He does not "die without leaving a corpse" natually. He has to blow himself up. The Ikanans: The Ikanans, were in life, giant humaniods (As seen from their skeletons), and I assume, as they have no temple, they lived in Clock Town, and for some reason, possibly for more room, moved to Ikana canyon, and adopted new names. And thats it! What do you think?

Re: Terminian Arrows: A Curse?
I think I see a major flaw in this. Zoras have been proven susceptible to ice, so how could they have weilded ice magic? If I may, I think the Gerudos had the Ice Arrow, just like in OoT, and the Zoras relieved them of it because of their natural weakness to low temperatures. They hid it in the Great Bay Temple, and after Majora's Mask did what it did to the coastal region, a Gerudo happened to hear the Zoras talking about a treasure that was the Ice Arrow, and, assuming it was some priceless object, or heaps of gold, or whatever, she told her people about it, and they began trying to get into the Great Bay Temple to retrieve what had been stolen from them however long ago.

Re: Terminian Arrows: A Curse?
I was under the impression that the various arrows were made specifically for the sake of a chosen hero. However, not necessarily the heroes we see, but one in the distant past that we don't see, although they remain useful. Something similar to the circumstances that lead to the silver arrows.

Re: Terminian Arrows: A Curse?
This is really more of a fan fic than a theory there isn't much evidence for it. Also what so you mean "light power" for the garo. We still don't even know if the Garos or Ikans built the temple.

Re: Terminian Arrows: A Curse?
With the realease of TP, you can see that many of the treasures in the dungeons have excuses to be there (Wielded by a Miniboss, Tribe's prized item) so I think that that gives this theory some more credibility, as three of the four "Edge Tribes" have been provem to not be able to use arrows. ("Cuz Link can't use them in those forms.)
