Does link keep his items in his hat?

Probably sounds retarded, but does he keep his items in his hat? He has belts but they're forever empty (even on TP) so just me wondering is everything kept in his hat? Its physically impossible but maybe its a magic hat? :XD

Re: Does link keep his items in his hat?

His... h... ... ...no.

If anything, his pockets are magical. Like in the cartoon

Watch him (after about 15 sec) making his shield go away! Magic! :XD

Re: Does link keep his items in his hat?

It's pretty much the same thing you see in every game with an extensive inventory: the developers disregard it when creating the character model(s). How silly would it be seeing Link carrying around a huge bag like Santa Claus?

Re: Does link keep his items in his hat?

I never even cared to notice where he puts his items but until my friend asked me where he puts his items I started wondering and after I saw the cartoon I went with he has magic pockets.

Re: Does link keep his items in his hat?

I based my question on when he puts stuff like his bow away they go behind his back/neck so either it goes behind his shield (even though theres nothing there when you've got sword & shield drawn or it goes in his hat. I went with hat. :XD

Re: Does link keep his items in his hat?

In OoT you see him stick stuff under his shield so I'm guessing the cartoon was right about at least the magic pockets, there was official art for(I think) ALttP showing him carrying most of his items, he looked a little burdened.

Re: Does link keep his items in his hat?

No, simply because he has no hat at the beginning of TP or WW, in WW you get invisible clothes, you could see the items through the hat.
Just look at it like Hermione's Purse in the Deathly Hallows.

Re: Does link keep his items in his hat?

If Link does keep his items somewhere, why does he only walk slow when he has the iron boots on? If he actually carried them, he would walk slow whether he had them on or not.

I think its best not to worry about where Link keeps his items.

Re: Does link keep his items in his hat?

Oh, sorry.

Hammer space references Hammer Bros. from Mario Bros., how they seemingly conjure infinite hammers. It is just a term for the impossible way that game characters carry huge items.

Re: Does link keep his items in his hat?

The world of Zelda has magic everywhere.

And if you notice, the items that he receives along in his adventure have magical properties in them, so if he wished to store them... Well, that's where the magic of the game comes in.

Re: Does link keep his items in his hat?

I think its pretty obvious that he keeps his items in his pockets as you can clearly see him reaching for them when he brings out an item..........not his cap.

Re: Does link keep his items in his hat?

I always thought that he had kept them in that invisible pocket of infinate volume on the inside of his tunic.

I thought he put them in his tunic or something, or midna/navi/tatl holds them with their powers.

He just places them behind his Hylian Shield.

It's a magical world, after all.

I don't think he keeps them in his hat, but... maybe. I think Link just tucks them away somewhere the game directors never thought of.

Nature's pocket.

...

Actually, I've always just assumed he had a magic tunic or something.

Re: Does link keep his items in his hat?

I think it has to be his tunic.

It's magical, it never tears, the colours don't fade away, so the items just fade into some magical realm until he chooses to get them out at different situations.
