Exactly! You can't go looking for proof for Link to be gay or straight.

Yeah. Princess Zelda will proove everything about Link. If he ever accepts a kiss from her, then that will proove that he's interested in the opposite sex.

What's the obsession with having Link and Zelda make out? To be honest, does it really make a difference? Why do you have the expectation that if you save a woman that she must love you afterwards? If he saved a prince would you expect him to make out with you as well? I mean, what's the point in saving somebody if they're not going to make out with you?

It's true, not everything involving a boy and a girl has to end up in romance.

Especially since in most of the games Link is just a little kid. They aren't exactly worried about hooking up with anybody at that point.

It just depends with his age. If he's young, then it wouldn't be right seeing him getting really close to a female.

But when he's an adult, then that's a different story.

The fact that Zelda knows him in both forums, and ends up back to Young Link at the end.... um.. yeah, no romance there...

In Twilight Princess maybe.. but no, I don't think so.

I think it all comes down to Link's personal choice in life.

Maybe he's just not ready for commitment.

It depends on your thoughts until Nintendo makes a Zelda Factbook with this in it.

Truth be told Link only meets Zelda three times in Twilight Princess. That's hardly enough to establish a relationship especially since he is in wolf form for two of those meetings.

I think people are being a bit unreasonable when it comes to Link developing a relationship with her.

Just because there isn't proof that Link isn't gay doesn't mean Miyamoto won't suddenly out him before a press conference in the near future when there is a new Zelda game to come out after declining sales of the previous Zelda game. Hey it worked for Rowling with Dumbledore, who knows!

Yah, but Miyamoto isnt JK Rowling.

And Link(the Hero of the series) isnt Dumbledore(an important character, yet, not really)


I cant imagine Miyamoto going: "Today, I have an important announcement to make. In our upcoming Zelda game, Link will no longer be....how to put this....himself."

Person giving interview: "How so?"

Miyamoto: "Well, lets just say...he wont be liking Zelda anymore"

Person giving interview: "So who will he like now, Midna"(chuckles)

Miyamoto: "No. But he might have an interest in, shall we say, Mido...or Prince Ralis..."

Person giving interview: "Ohhhhh"

When game sales start to decline or you basically repeat the same idea over and over again, (the similarities of Harry Potter and Zelda are apparent, aren't they?) Miyamato is bound to just do something to save face and put Link outside of his closet.

But Link becoming Gay? What kind of change to the series is that?

Besides, it'd be inappropriate for younger players. I dont think the devolopers would make sexuality a part of the game.

It'll make sales decrease dramatically more than anything.
