There is no real proof for Link to be gay, and neither is there real proof that he's straight.
But I find it very amusing how desperate some people are to proof that Link is straight.

And I don't see how Link's sexuality would affect anything in the game. There were never scenes like kissing or anything, most of the relationship that people think exist between Link and whatever character have no real proof to be romantic. You could easy dismiss them as friendship. Just imagine Ilia would have been a boy, everyone would have dismissed theire relationship as friendship.

Link never shows romantic feelings in the game, thus him being gay would change absolutly nothing.

There could have been gay Links and we didn't even notice because Link never acts out his sexuality, and I bet thats going to stay that way.

So does Links sexuality matter? No.

I couldn't care less whether Link is gay or not since it will not affect the game at all.

Cremia: That one is true, thats why I said that OoT/MM Link is one of the few Links were we have some proof that indicates him beeing straight.

I'm repeating myself but I'm going to say it again. There is no proof for Links sexuality in most of the games, and his sexuality is of absolute zero importance for the game itself. Thus him being straight or gay does not matter at all.

What, I thought this thread was closed a long time ago. I don't think Link is gay but I can't be bothered to find evidence supporting this because his sexuality is irrelevent unless he liked Ganon but that would be weird.

Look, Link is nothing more than an Avatar for the player (Hence the name 'Link').

As a result, he is only a homosexual if you are.

I wish people would stop saying there's no evidence he's straight. Seriously, there's proof, the little hints that they are, but that's proof.

The problem I have with him being gay, is it would distract me from who Link really is. Link is a strong, courageous, and giving hero. However if he were gay, it would seem like a strange combination: Link, the strong, courageous, gay hero...

Actually No. clothes arent an indication of sexuality at all. Falbi has as much chance of being homosexual as Link does. For Falbi, the word you are looking for is camp.
