Where did Ganon come from?!

I was playing OoT yesterday and I just started a new game. I talked to Princess Zelda and she said he came from a different land. Could it be Termina, or any other place mentioned in the series. Or does she mean from the Gerudos land because when she said this I took it as she meant another place. Hopefully, he came from another land because evil doesn't make your face green at all!

Please discuss.

Hehe, jokes aside, Ganondorf is a Gerudo. He was raised by Twinrowa, if you remember. Ganon is a dark demon spirit of sorts, and Ganondorf is his human form. However, Ganondorf is most likely not aware that he is an evil demon thing. He's just evil

I thought "Ganon" was a form created by the Triforce of Power when Ganondorf used it, which somehow became permanent later.

Gannondorf was a Gerudo, the name Ganon is also used to refer to him(The King of Red Lions calls him Ganon a few times)
But Ganon is also his pig form.

Ganondorf hails from the desert far to the west, which is obviously the Gerudo Valley/Gerudo Desert/Haunted Wasteland seen in OoT/TP.

As for "Ganon", the ALttP manual states that he was "born" when Ganondorf touched the Triforce in the Imprisoning War (OoT), and FSA states that he is an "ancient demon reborn" ("revived", from the literal Japanese), with Ganondorf being the "demon's evil vessel" (again, from the literal Japanese) and gaining this status when he touches the magic trident.

Ganon/dorf dies in TWW/TP; FSA, we would presume, would follow one of Ganon's deaths, not necessarily limited to his deaths in TWW and TP.

^ It's not really proven, it's just that whenever he's blue ganon he has the trident (and there was a LoZ remake which showed Ganon with the Trident). So it makes sense.

Now, who knows what happens if he throws the trident away or destroys it?

Well it doesn't, really. Not that we know of, anyway: there's no evidence to raise this above 'fanfic theory'. Doesn't necessarily mean it's not true, though.

I also forgot to add Zelda said " He must have CAME TO HYRULE to take over Hyrule, no!

Notice the caps words: Came to Hyrule.........a mistake probably.

^The Gerudos probably weren't included in the Hyrule kingdom, having their own king (Ganondorf) and all.

Ganondorf came from Gerudos valley.
Ganondorf is Ganon for short. I think he just liked using this name when he felt powerful.
Now in OOT he gains that power to become the strong Ganon for the first time.
