Quick Q about "Rosy Rupeeland".

Does... err... "Freshly Picked Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland" or whatever the hell it is fit into any timeline? I haven't played it, and probably wont, so I'm not intimate with its story... is it post WW?

The story seems to take place before Majora's Mask, if anything. It explains how tingle became tingle.

Ehh, I dunno. All the islands actually make me think, after I read over its storyline a little more closely, that it's pre-WW, but after the flood.

by the sounds of it, it takes place before both MM and WW, but in the Adult Timeline - explaining the islands (and although I haven't finished it I remember reading something about a Deku Tree olr something but this is probably wrong!)

As to how Tingle gets to MM - I believe that Termina is separate to the Adult/Child Timleine split, and Tingle has the ability to travel into different realms (this might sound farfetched but, hey, it's Tingle. The very name is farfetched!)... I'm not sure if this happens in FPTRR or whatever the abbreviation is but yeah. How else could Tingle recognise WW Link? (he says something like 'The same green clothes... the same green hat...' in WW whereas in MM he only says 'Those green clothes... that green hat' or something, and then likens him to a fairy - although this could very well be him recognising another Link, but I won't go into that...)

That's what I understand from those quotes anyway...

I havn't played the game, and I don't plan to purchase it either. But things that may help: Is the name Hyrule mentioned, what races are there, and is there any place or characters that we've seen in other games(except tingle himself, obviously)?

If pinecove hadn't decided to take a break I'm sure he would probably reply here. Since he's not here ill quote him as i "think" he had played the game before.

Here's your answer. In TFPRCRL ... (Long abreviation I know) Tingle manages to niverse warp. Hence he would have gone from MM (When he had a father and was only a sligh bit crazy.)-TFPRCRL in which he would go half insane ...- TMC in which he is cocy.Then from there he would have gone to TWW and written the LoTF.

So in all reality Tingle's timeline is linear.

And no there aren't multiple Tingles. We must remember that Tingles timeline goes MM-FPTRRL-TMC-TWW-whatever.

Hence meaning that by the time he writes the LoTF he's gone partialy insane.

I'll take it he knows what hes talked about and it seems logical.

HA thats funny Imaginary Pinecove, but anyways. Like you said honestly I dont want to play it, I like Tingle and all but that game does not look like it would be worth the money. Maybe someday tho after someone has created a Nintendo DS emu and I have a pc that might be able to run at the speed required I MAY try it (honestly trying to play a game that uses 2 screens, plus a mouse as a stylus, plus the KB to use the rest of the buttons might be too much of a pain to be worth it.)

^ Or hope to find one on sale. It can't be selling that good I imagine, so in a year or so, prices should be down enough. Well, maybe.

^ Why shouldn't it? As long as it doesn't mess everything up (like Tingle killing Ganon with a magical fairy wand he found by getting the entire Triforce which he found in a bush). Like, if they made a game called: Link's Day, and have it placed 1 day before OoT, it would still be in the timeline, even though it wouldn't be significant. It's like the Oracles, they're often left out of timeline theories.

IGN says no. So you'd have to import it, or go to an import-store. Or make Pinecove send you his copy ;-)

1- it was never out in the US? Wow
2- it's actually quite fun, the dungeons are simple enough but the boss battles are awesome. Think Donkey Kong Country 3, where each boss was vastly different from others and some even used different systems (like a from-behind snowball fight with the Snowman boss)
3- the game shows a 35-year-old man getting turned into Tingle (who needs rupees to survive), so it can't really be after MM unless it's a different Tingle
4- it also features a Deku Forest with a Deku Tree identical to the one in TWW but who dies and leaves a sprout behind as its heir, numerous implied references to the Bombers, statues of Zora's heads, rupees, fairies and a lookalike of Death Mountain (sans Gorons) called Mount Desma. Other than this however, it has nothing in common with Hyrule
5- the game refers to a hero who previously saved the world

I'm on the final boss now so I'll let you guys know if anything else turns up
